He's wondering why DXtory is butchering his video, so I asked if he was scaling or clipping, he said scaling to 720p. he runs his 1920x1200 monitor on 1920x1080 on his desktop and 1680x1050 in games.

I'm beginning to think it was a dumb mistake to buy a netbook instead of a lightweight laptop.
I thought all I was gonna use it for was for travel, but turns out I use it much more then that, like when I wanna sit in this big comfy recliner and browse at the same time.

... It doesn't like being used for long periods of time.

So I'm coming up with ideas and I need your guys' opinions.

Rate Tool to suggest attempting to fix my HP Pavilion again.
Rate Clock to suggest attempting to fix Zeriga's shitty laptop for myself to use.
Rate Informative to suggest taking back my old Gateway that my brother doesn't use, because now it works flawlessly since the HDD was replaced.
Rate Disagree to just stick with the Eee PC.
Rate Winner to say fuck it all, reserve the broken shit for dad's target practice and consider buying something else.

If I bought the Gateway and the HP with my own money, that would possibly work.
But since mom bought them both, I can hear it now...
"I bought them with my money, so I'm not gonna let you sell them/the money goes to me!"
Which, she would be right, but I really don't think she'd want me to sell them.

Who's experienced with VirtualBox? I need to clone a VM to another hard drive as these snapshots have filled up my SSD very quickly. Cloning normally will fail and if I try copying it manually, snapshots will not show up in the new VM in the manager.
