Hi. No, I have decided to lurk, take notes on your guys posts, to be less of a shit poster.
we're not trying to practice any sort of social elitism here, it's just that you've got to stop and read your posts before you reply. If you're being a dumbass, for instance, don't make it into something bigger than it is, just say "Okay, sorry." and carry on. not posting will not help anybody's opinion of you or the quality of your own posts
Anyone else have a bug where clicking "mark unread" on Facepunch's "Read Threads" page doesn't keep? You click it, it disappears, but then you come back a minute later and it's back? Or is that just me?
I can only remove them on my iPad it's really weird
The American Government is at it again. First: SOPA Second: PIPA Third: ACTA Introducing.................... CISPA!
Woo more alarmist BS
Chrome does not suck, it's fast and lightweight and no-bullshit like a browser should be
Firefox works nobullshit and fast for me too. Infact, a few sites that I visit more than others loads faster in Firefox, than it did on Chrome 15 and 17, I have 18 installed, just don't visit it often. I think it might have been fixed though.
The American Government is at it again. First: SOPA Second: PIPA Third: ACTA Introducing.................... CISPA!
The Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants? Must be pretty new if it doesn't even have a Wikipedia page yet.
As does everything.
neither camino nor konqueror pass, those are the only mainstream browsers I can think of that don't anymore though
http://rt.com/usa/news/cispa-bill-sopa-internet-175/ Shit source but only thing I could find.
neither camino nor konqueror pass, those are the only mainstream browsers I can think of that don't anymore though
I haven't seen anyone use either of those.
http://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/rt21f/so_i_read_cispa_hr_3523_heres_your_tldr/ This sums it nicely.
I haven't seen anyone use either of those.
they're platform specific. camino is pretty popular on Mac, and Konqueror is one of the most popular on Linux
neither camino nor konqueror pass, those are the only mainstream browsers I can think of that don't anymore though
Never heard of those. [editline]4th April 2012[/editline]
they're platform specific. camino is pretty popular on Mac, and Konqueror is one of the most popular on Linux
I know a lot of people with OSX, they stick with Safari or use Chrome.
Never heard of those. [editline]4th April 2012[/editline] I know a lot of people with OSX, they stick with Safari or use Chrome.
Konqueror's the web browser part of KDE. Don't know about Camino, think it's Mozilla-related though.
Anyone else have a bug where clicking "mark unread" on Facepunch's "Read Threads" page doesn't keep? You click it, it disappears, but then you come back a minute later and it's back? Or is that just me?
yes I hate this so much because it's all I really use to browse, then the stupid or almost embarrassing threads I was curious enough to click are forever burned into the reader page
Never heard of those. [editline]4th April 2012[/editline] I know a lot of people with OSX, they stick with Safari or use Chrome.
camino is mostly used by people that have been using OS X since the powerbook G4 was the next big thing. safari was garbage and there was no chrome, this browser was on par with firefox for windows and linux but ran better than firefox for mac. it doesn't show up on browser war charts because it has the same useragent as firefox
Soooo it's pretty much Firefox in a way?
It looks worse than SOPA to me.
Soooo it's pretty much Firefox in a way?
iirc it's a fork of an old version of firefox developed independently. sort of like how internet explorer is technically a fork of ncsa mosaic but really doesn't share a lot of code with it
neither camino nor konqueror pass, those are the only mainstream browsers I can think of that don't anymore though
Don't forget Sparkbrowser. /sarcasm
yes I hate this so much because it's all I really use to browse, then the stupid or almost embarrassing threads I was curious enough to click are forever burned into the reader page
Solution: Unread the threads you no longer want Click Read Threads link again to refresh Repeat until it works Note that it will often go one-at-a-time, deleting the first thread but not others.
Solution: Unread the threads you no longer want Click Read Threads link again to refresh Repeat until it works Note that it will often go one-at-a-time, deleting the first thread but not others.
you don't need to click the link, i don't think
You can Unread/ Unfollow? HOW!?
Don't forget Sparkbrowser. /sarcasm
sparkbrowser is just an internet explorer frame, isn't it? it should get 100/100 [editline]4th April 2012[/editline] apparently it's webkit-based so it should actually get 100/100
Rockmelt gets 100/100 but its based on chrome so no surprise there. I don't know why anyone in their right mind would use it though.
Rockmelt gets 100/100 but its based on chrome so no surprise there. I don't know why anyone in their right mind would use it though.
but it's a WOWser!

But yeah, it works in Arch under Chromium. Thanks!
You can Unread/ Unfollow? HOW!?
BUT, BUT, THAT WASN'T THERE BEFORE! [editline]5th April 2012[/editline] *somehow didn't see it*
it's never been there for me, and still isn't. :saddowns:
