That people still use Hotmail? Yeah, I know, right.
I do, only because I have so many other accounts forwarding to it from long ago and I cannot reforward my main hotmail account.
What.
666 Unread emails. 666 Is the sign of the devil.
666 Unread emails. 666 Is the sign of the devil.
Which isn't actually correct, it's 616. And the Devil doesn't even exist.
Which isn't actually correct, it's 616. And the Devil doesn't even exist.
Wastn't it 606? Meh, idgaf. All I know is that my HDD has a 666GB partion...
Which isn't actually correct, it's 616. And the Devil doesn't even exist.
This isn't gonna end well.
amd and their shitty fucking drivers BF3 was running like piss and that's when I realized that the discrete GPU is not the selected one in my laptop when I try to switch to the discrete GPU it lashes and then goes back to the APU switchable graphics are awful shit
666 Unread emails. 666 Is the sign of the devil.
No, it's the number of the beast. I mean c'mon, listen to the song about it or something.

Then you save power when you don't need the GPU.
No, it's the number of the beast. I mean c'mon, listen to the song about it or something.
Arguably 616 is the number of the beast, due to the fact it was found in Papyrus 115, which was written long before the book of revelations which uses 666. Which are both called the number of the beast. Now can we like, not get into a religious discussion?
What do you propose instead, then?
What do you propose instead, then?
You're kidding, right?
Religion? I thought we were discussing classic British heavy metal.
Close enough.
flight sim discussion? anybody know of an almost arcadey flying game? all i want to do is fly shit and not have to worry about pressing a million switches just to turn the engines on.
MS Flight, the new one, is pretty much that. Except you only get two planes.
flight sim discussion? anybody know of an almost arcadey flying game? all i want to do is fly shit and not have to worry about pressing a million switches just to turn the engines on.
But that's the fun part
Oh, and while we're changing subjects... Another status update on Horizon. I changed the sword length and animations, and then made a bunch more sprites. From left-to-right, the Player (you), the Warrior's Guild (Intel), a general guy (a guy), Malus (Apple), Mist (Microsoft), an enforcer for the Merchant's Guild (IBM), a cultist of the Order of the All-Seeing (Google), Fighter's Guild (AMD), Circle of Mages (nVidia), a generic boss (another guy), and a crusader (Sony). Not yet done: the Wizard's Guild (ATI*), Sol (Sun), the Oracle (Oracle), New Dawn (GNU) and Pakkadia-Hellecia (HP). * yes, I am aware AMD bought ATI, you don't have to tell me. I'm keeping them as a separate faction for story reasons.
flight sim discussion? anybody know of an almost arcadey flying game? all i want to do is fly shit and not have to worry about pressing a million switches just to turn the engines on.
hawx [editline]5th April 2012[/editline]
do you at least get to go wherever you want in the world? i remember something about a flight game where it used satellite images and shit. [editline]5th April 2012[/editline] i'm terrible at that and all i managed to do was make a few lights blink
Ms flight simulator x has satellite imagery but it isn't very arcadey
Unless they work. Then you save power when you don't need the GPU.
yeah but the system is terrible and the drivers managed to uninstall themselves somehow so i'm typing this in a wonderful 800x600 window with aero off while I reinstall oh and BF3 bluescreens randomly and nothing else does so... yay, AMD quality
New Corsair Vengeance case line. http://www.techpowerup.com/163638/New-GK104-SKU-Details-Surface.html
Case styling brought to you by Ammo Tins Okay, maybe tin lunchboxes too..
well i think i got it to stick in crossfireX mode since I don't think the A6-3400M graphics can run Skyrim on high with 8x AA at a respectable framerate, and yet it was chugging along with 40FPS even on battery power and as the saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it
I'd actually prefer a case made from an ammo tin to one of those. Hmm.. :v:
It'd make a sweet HTPC.
Hot damn a computer in an ammo case would be so awesome. Raspberry Pi cluster?
i just checked if bf3 would run fine just for shits and giggles and the fan engaged almost immediately after it loaded and everyone nearby started staring at me (I'm in my computer science class ATM) damn laptop you loud
AMD needs a bit more colour, and IBM Better be the boss. They are the be all and end all.
With AMD I was aiming for the "cheap and ugly, but it gets the job done"-type adventurer. I might add a splash of red for color, but I like how it turned out. And also, every faction has a boss. IBM just has a weird level curve - extremely weak grunts (based on their desktops), then very powerful grunts (IBM BladeCenters), then either supercomputer-level bosses, or extremely weak bosses, I haven't decided.
Apple discontinued their rackmount servers, so I guess they don't need a boss :v:
They replaced them with Mac Pros and Mac Minis for some bizarre reason.
I wouldn't mind having Apple geniuses as their weak grunts.
They replaced them with Mac Pros and Mac Minis for some bizarre reason.
Maybe lack of demand?
