Also here's a story: Once there was a guy at school who started threatening me over MSN about how he could hack into my computer and steal all my passwords, he was talking about all these programs (RapZo Logger and other build-your-own-virus ones iirc) he had that would keylog anything I typed and would give him complete control.

I was using my MacBook as he talked endlessly about binding his viruses into exes files that when opened would fuck my computer irretrievably. I shut him up with a simple "Yeah but I can't run exe files, I'm on my mac."

About a week later I decided on how I'd get my revenge. In computer lab class I did a bit of research then took some time to write my own program that would annoy him. It was pretty simple: copy the firefox, opera and chrome password/history files (and their keys) to my flash drive in an instant.

His girlfriend was actually very supportive as I wrote the thing right beside her and shared how it would work (I didn't know it yet but she hated his guts)
Skip forwards a bit, I'm in his room, he leaves downstairs to get something, I run the program and then pocket the usb key. Success! I must have him now!
Unfortunately it didn't turn out that well, I had written it to save his passwords to /d or /e (I don't remember) and he had daemon tools lite installed with a fuckload of drives, my program saved to /d or /e all right but I was apparently plugged into /f or something because I didn't get anything :c

Later he found out from his girlfriend that I'd plugged shit into his computer and he was super mad, I took this opportunity to blow what my program did way out of proportion and then leave him to think that every file he had was infected. :V

-guy threatens to send virus over msn
-I write a browser password stealer
-I go to his house and run it on my flash drive
-It doesn't work and he finds out
-I exaggerate what it was supposed to do and he spends a long time jumping at shadows

Can you believe they charged my poor grandpa over $500 for an acer aspire m1100 at Futureshop? The computer was $300, plus they charged an addition of 200something for [I]installing the OS and drivers[/I]. God damn they are just scum.

I was hoping to buy a Vaio but when I found out what the K53TA was capable of, and I saw they had one on CowBoom, I had to buy it, even if I am saving for a car

But the BB Employee Discount is like 120% manufacturer price or something. So a buddy of mine who worked there bought some cables that were $50 for normal people and $8 for him. Electronic prices are fine at BB but it's the little shit where they nickel and dime you

Not trying to start a speedtest thing here, but it's important to the story. I was experiencing some bad download speeds and weird latency issues on WoW(only WoW for latency) so I tried everything BUT restarting our modem. I called Tech Support for our ISP and she told me to do that. Now I feel dumb.
