It's the Makol virus.
Don't open it.

Odd. It's just a simple C# thing. All it does is take some text boxes, strings them together and launches apps. I can give you the source code if you want.

Why did garry remove the country flags, exactly? I liked them

I think it's a packed executable, Chrome doesn't like those.

Because garry.
Giving computer the yearly AV-scan, using F-Secure AV LiveCD. Turns out it runs Knoppix and has links installed, and I got bored. I have a feeling the browser and OS will just be shown as a question mark on FP.

What are you up to AMD?

Q4 2012 release date? If that's true Nvidia is fucked.

Supposed to be 1.2x more powerful than the 7970 while Kepler stuff is supposed to be 1.5x.
I don't get your point.
Wingless just nailed it on the head.
Pro tip: Anything releasing in Q4 201x will release in Q1 201x+1

If they release it this quarter, I'm not so sure that NVidia will be holding the performance crown. The 7970 is already pretty swell, and while NVidia has been doing a lot of promotion for the Kepler, this should be a pretty hefty card to beat.

1.5x compared to the GTX 580, right? They'll be pretty close, performance-wise.

If Kepler has no more delays then Nvidia will be ahead.
The 680/780 (whatever the fuck it's going to be called, I don't know anymore) already pounds the 7970 with all that we've seen, So far. Assuming it stays like that Nvidia has the head. It looks like this card is going to be Q4 2012 so AMD are behind. They might be evenish performance wise but Nvidia should be first and that gives them more time to improve on Kepler, several months head start against AMD.

7XXX already beats 5XX by a significant amount. 1.2x 7XXX ought to be higher than 1.5x 5XX, and released a couple months earlier.
I should ask my dad's friend at Nvidia about what he thinks of the leak slide :v:

And also get me a 680/780 review card.
I mean what, those don't exist :ninja:
Or do they?

I've been tempted to start a review site for a while. If I could get one...
Or do they?
It's all a lie. They're just rebranded 9800 GX2's

You forget, to get to the level of getting Early release GPU review cards you have to have had years in the game.

You mean rebranded 8400s.
You mean rebranded 8400s.
Yeah, that.
I'm surprised those are still being sold. I would think people would get a 9500 GT or something instead by now.
I'm surprised those are still being sold. I would think people would get a 9500 or something instead by now.
I'm glad they're still sold, it means there's still going to be faulty G98 chips which means more of These.
Q4 2012 release date? If that's true Nvidia is fucked.
No they're not and here's why. The GK104 is going to be released incredibly soon. From what I'm aware of it's going to replace the $300 GTX560 Ti models. From speculation alone the GK104 will overpower the HD 7950 and even rival the $550 HD 7970. If this is true then that should say something. We and AMD should be very worried.
Hey brt:

That's pure speculation, I doubt it will be anywhere near that powerful.
It's going to beat the 7950 and rival the7970.

We'll see in a couple of days, the non-existent GTX 680/780 review cards have just been sent out, iirc. It looked like TTL had one in his 400th sub video.

Still might be a fun hobby.
