Doesn't Minecraft have some x86 dependencies?
Also, I skimmed the page, didn't see anything about SPARC. Actually, all I saw about the processors at all was clock speed (1.015gHz), which definitely *sounds* SPARC, but remember, Sun does make x86 servers too.

I think I have something similar, no idea for sure though, my dad brought it home one day and said "They were going to throw it out so I grabbed it, I don't know what it is or if it's worth anything." It's sat under his desk since then and we booted it up once to check it works, thing sounds like a banshee screaming at you.
Looks a bit like this [t]http://i.imgur.com/asHSF.jpg[/t] might be remembering wrong though because I haven't seen it since last year, I'll find out what it is tomorrow.

I've been looking at getting myself a newish SPARC server lately, 2000ish.
Can you get any information on it?
I just have my Blade beep really loudly every 5 minutes until I get up. Beeping all the way from 6:00 to 7:30 BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP I usually get up at 6:15-6:30
My god the alarms built into gingerbread were annoying. I'm amazed my blade didnt get bounced off a wall. Thankfully ICS is a lot less severe.

first a cd

I'd try it, but I'm too scared. It would probably explode, like that time I put a non-rechargable battery in a battery recharger.
Have fun with the residue from that, Deeps.
I hope you don't plan on microwaving anything in that microwave in the future.
WoodysGamertag just microwaved a fucking can of spray paint. Holy shit balls...

Why? We have microwaved some dumb shit in that thing before.

Minecraft server will run fine on non-x86 - I think Wingless has tested it on Itanium. The client has x86 deps, though.
The E15K, which is what that CPU board is from, runs UltraSPARC III's - about on par with a Pentium III in most respects (slightly weaker in int, slightly stronger in float.)

The residue from CDs is bad stuff.
Stuff that you wouldn't want on your taco / pizza. Like, stuff that should never be ingested.

Shit I just had ramen.
Oh well.
RIP Deeps.
I microwaved a glass HDD platter before.
It melted and broke apart.
I've actually got some RAM sitting around. 2 x 1GB sticks from my Mac Mini.
