For more old pokemon game fuckery look up the Mew Trick.
Mew Trick is really boring from a technical standpoint. MissingNo with the Old Man fly trick in RGB (doesn't work in Yellow) is way more cool if you can follow what is actually happening while you're doing it. Also, the default name before you pick a name in the first generation is NINTEN. I copied what was in RAM before choosing a name and then replaced my name with what was in memory.
i held neither of those titles i've never even played support you have me mistaken for someone else [editline]7th April 2012[/editline] should mention i'm responding to BreenIsALie

If there was a "worst helicopter pilot" then i would probably be under it.
HAX!!!11!!
Pepper;35471975']If there was a "worst helicopter pilot" then i would probably be under it.
last time I tried flying a heli, I pretended I was a plane and banked a turn "turns" out that means instant death
My best flight time was like, 30 seconds.
you sure have me beat because i didn't make it off the landing pad
Also, some advice with laptop batteries: when unused, put it in a fridge After 2 weeks mine was still at 100% [editline]7th April 2012[/editline] MERGE
I just open the battery and replace the cells with AAs
I just open the battery and replace the cells with AAs
I'm thinking of making a "extended" battery. I want to grab a fuckload of cells (45 as my laptop has 6 cells) and make like a slice thing that goes underneath the laptop. 2 day battery life, fuck yeah.
This would've been pretty useful to gman.
Actually, if the site would stop being slashdotted, I could probably be pretty useful to it. But I probably will end up relying on it a lot for ARM, SuperH, MIPS and such, since resources on those are hard to find.
I've actually wanted to do that as well, but the laptop's heavy enough as is
Toothpick.
For me, the physical size is more of an issue than weight. It's easier to carry a 10.1 inch than a 17 inch.

Lots of really old stuff (R10K family, first couple generations of UltraSPARC) but mostly just surface-level details like pipeline length, rather than info on things like functional units. With any luck, it will get filled up with more information fairly quickly.
The weight is only a problem when I have it in my pack
last time I tried flying a heli, I pretended I was a plane and banked a turn "turns" out that means instant death
You can't bank turns in BF3 using a helicopter?
Got a question, Anyone here own a Galaxy SII or HTC One X ? Thinking of getting one of them, not sure which. Kinda leaning to the SII for the better battery life but unsure
You can't bank turns in BF3 using a helicopter?
Not while on the pad.
You can't bank turns in BF3 using a helicopter?
Anything is possible when flying with a Controller [editline]7th April 2012[/editline] Oh come on, That post could not have taken more then 12 sec to post
I have an SII, any questions about it? mergebreaker
Just wondering how the battery time feels. All the tests i'v seen have been at ether full power saving or max load, And just general feel of it
Just wondering how the battery time feels. All the tests i'v seen have been at ether full power saving or max load, And just general feel of it
My battery life averages about 2.5hrs if I use it a lot, maybe 6 or so if used only for a bit at a time. It feels fairly smooth to use.
My battery life averages about 2.5hrs if I use it a lot, maybe 6 or so if used only for a bit at a time. It feels fairly smooth to use.
What do you mean by "used only for a bit at a time" ? My Atrix lasts over a day often for me if I'm just using it for general texting/checking facepunch once or twice for 20 minutes at a time, I don't leave anything like data or wifi on constantly though. Edit: My Defy lasted up to 4 days if I only used the data for about 30 minutes total.

Also, the default name before you pick a name in the first generation is NINTEN. I copied what was in RAM before choosing a name and then replaced my name with what was in memory.
for those who don't know how the missingno trick works: when you talk to the old man and go through his little tutorial thing, it temporarily changes your name and sprite. your name is stored where the encounter data (what pokemon you can encounter in the area) would be for future access, and doesn't overwrite it until you change routes(i think? someone clarify me on this...) this does NOT include flying. off the east coast of cinnabar island, there's a 1 unit wide strip of water that has no defined encounter data, so if you talk to the old man, go through the tut, fly over to cinnabar, and travel over that, you get pokemon encounters that correspond to your name. you can also do this with the safari zone (go to safari zone, and then fly over to cinnabar and surf there) to get its pokemon outside of there. [editline]7th April 2012[/editline] when i was 8 i fucked around a lot with the old pokemon games, if you are wondering why i know this

Kinda leaning to the SII for the better battery life but unsure
The One X was reviewed by the verge, apparently it has the best display on a mobile phone, ever. Be aware of the un-removable battery, lack of micro-SD slot and HTC sense (which they have cleaned up incredibly well!)
You can't bank turns in BF3 using a helicopter?
see when I say "bank" I mean roll 90 degrees and try to defy gravity
