Oh well, I am dieing on my C2D and my birthday is coming in a few weeks.
Let's see what I will get. When will the i3 ivy bridges come and how should the performance be? I have a HD4650 as a GPU right now.
I think I have to save up a lot for an upgrade. Case is good enough but my fucking 500W IED.
Ivy Bridge has no i3 iirc.

AFAIK, It has but it is coming out in June / July.
Good, because that would be incredibly stupid on intel's part.
I think I'm going to finally be getting a better monitor. No more retarded 1360x768 screenshots.
My parents TV turned on and then off today. Power board broke. It's like $80-100 for that, so I told em to spend $20-40 more, buy me a 1080p monitor, and they can take my 32" TV for themselves.
All this talk about Z77 motherboards makes me want to buy one too.

I need to check what parts of my current PC I can save, I don't have the money to buy a completely new one.
on the late(ish) subject of fast food, in 'n out burger is the absolute best i've tasted

and the one time we went to a jack in the box it was really shitty

How many are there in the US? I heard there is one in Nevada and a few in California.
If thefast food places run via code and regulation they are fine. It's the places that either don't care and/or don't get inspected enough for them to run clean enough. The fast food places near me are pretty good and pretty damn clean and up to date. the MCD's near work has a bunch of NEC large format monitors for their menus and so it they have like up close video of fizzing soda and stuff as well as full HD images of the foods as it goes down the menu.
Not to mention it has like 45-50 TV's with all sorts of news networks n.
I love how when I go through any drive through they tell me to back up the car so I can reset their timer so they can get good scores.
I always tell them "How about you do your damn job properly? :)"

i heard they were good but i don't think any are around here
it seems like apple purposefully make their old idevices slower with each update
my ipod touch 2g runs like shit, whereas when I bought it it ran like a charm, sometimes it takes 5 seconds to load up coverflow when I tilt it sideways on the music app - that shouldn't happen, it worked fine when I bought it.

Downgrade to iOS3.
What the fuck is wrong with American fast food restaurants? I've never been poisoned by a fast food place, even though they're pretty shitty. Also didn't know how that Pokemon glitch worked. It was godlike when i played a lot of Pokemon.
I think the McDonalds here bribes the inspector or something.
Everywhere else is fine as far as health goes - Jack in the Box tends to never go above "mediocre" around here in taste etc, but that's about it.

Your warranty's probably up on that by now, jailbreak it.

Because really doesn't care about the older devices. Not that that's a wrong thing to do.
So, you know those fragrance sprayer things at car washes?
I just blasted myself and my mother in the face with one accidentally. All we can smell is vanilla. Fucking wind was blowing into the barrel of the gun so it redirected it at our faces.
at least they actually cook the food when you order it in the US, rather than giving you something that's been on a shelf for half an hour and has gone stale here in the UK
wrong, you get stale shit in the US too. you have to go at certain times, from 10:30 forward every 3-4 hours or so they run out of the previous batch
Einstein Bros bagels make only a few batches a day and run out of everything bagels by noon usually.
But those bagels are the best.
Place up near my high school, "Henry's Donuts", makes the BEST FUCKING DONUTS EVER.
Your warranty's probably up on that by now, jailbreak it.
I jailbroke it the day after I got it, it's not currently jailbroken however. I'd do it again but I don't see much point, I never really see any difference performance wise.

I know that they don't care about the older devices, but the fact that they seem to be doing it purposefully as a marketing tactic pisses me off.
Any info (or speculation) for when the 7990's will be released?

No point if the 685 rumors are corrent.
I had a dream last night that I found a closet full of old computers in my school. Including several Amigas, a C64, a MSX, and a couple old Macs.
Directly following that dream was one with me getting into a fight with someone at lunch which was comical because it was like a bad gmod ragdoll video.
It was so odd.

There is point, I wish to stay with AMD and not reach over into Nvidia ground.

that's kind of silly...You really should just go with what has the best bang for your buck, and that lately has switched around to nVidia, it seems.
