also I'm using nearly 115 GB of space on my laptop and I don't know with what :C I need to clear out like 50 GB or so to make another partition, I wanna have a 'throwaway' partition for testing linux distros..

You know what doesn't make any goddamn sense? Ubuntu's update-motd setup. I understand them wanting to put how many updates are available at the start of a terminal, but you can do that by sticking your little command in /etc/profile, not making an entire damn program to change /etc/motd and almost completely shut out user-made SSH MOTDs.
