CIPWTTKT&GC v0X12 (v18): Makol can't Computer Very Good

Restart made it better, woo!
My monitor brightness is at 100% and it doesn't bother my eyes at all.
... Well if the room's dark and my desk lamp isn't on it bugs me a little if I'm trying to draw but still, not much.
Am I just lucky?
Well, it really depends on the monitors, in the case of my Dell U2312HM's, 0 brightness is more than enough. It is still too bright when no lights are on.

Oh.
I have an Asus VK246 (one of them ones with the built in webcams)
Maybe matte/shiny screen has a contributing factor? This thing's screen is matte.
Edit:
Hehe, according to Speccy my Samsung camera being plugged in is an optical drive :v:
Your screen is a TN panel, and mine is IPS, I suppose that would make a difference.
Ok, I am still fiddling with Dxtory, but it just crashes every goddamn DirectX program it can hook on.
Holy shit, I just fixed it. It were the ATI tray tools, with an overlay which conflicted with Dxtory.
I leave a written note on my front door telling the Purolator guy to leave the package on the porch. I come home to find a "We missed you" slip stuck OVER my note. They probably need a signature or some shit. If newegg doesn't need me to sign for $700 worth of computer parts, why is it mandatory for everyone else?
Turns out my IT class is starting programming now. This should be fun.
Had one period on it already. During the time I managed to program a (mostly) working Blackjack game in Javascript, the other guys have figured out the <b> tag.
I'm going to have to keep a content log I think.
Brt, I have something for you to spend money on.

Just a quick question, how many of you think that doing Safely Remove Hardware for flash drives and stuff is needed? I have never used it and I don't really see people using it much, so what is your opinion and why is it still needed in the modern day?
I can't find any options for cancelling aquatuning orders, fuck.
I have no idea why it's even a function, I have never, ever used it, and all of my flash drives still work.
Although some people still believe that it would break their drive if they wouldn't do it.
I almost never use it, But i got a teacher that's paranoid about it

Considering the purchase of this keyboard, anyone here used/owned one?

I'm thinking of ditching my xigmatek asgard and putting my desktop in this
and cooling the q6600 with a h40 and gentle typhoon.
Good idea?
barring the CPU heatsink, I'm fairly sure that it would fit.

Portable hard drives.
Portable hard drives.
Meh, googled a bit more about it and if you switch that stuff to quick removal, it is fine, but for performance, it caches and stuff and MIGHT fuck up. No data loss for me yet C:
Probably because I can wait before it finishes r/w and unplug while idling.

I don't really. As long as you make sure nothing is actually using the drive, I say its fine. With my external HDD it doesn't work for me anyway. It always says the drive is in use even though I know for a fact it isn't.
Windows 2000 nags you constantly anytime you do "improperly" remove a drive though. That's really, really annoying.

I think it's only people who've developed that habit from using older Windows versions and *nix OS'es.

I have a corrupted memory stick from using it at school, we can't safely remove them there because of privileges. Can't think of any reason for it to be bust apart from that, unless I did it without realising it was still transferring files.
I'll try to get some pictures of the "websites" we're making in our ICT lessons, I'm basically the only one not doing it out of boredom, which is stupid of me but it's a GCSE EQUIVALENT, nothing more, doesn't matter if we get pass/merit/distinction from what I've been told by a few teachers. The teacher in my lesson keeps praising people for their websites being colourful and having lots of pictures, it's usually the ones with page gradients, several colours of text and excessive imagery.

1. Be Makol
2. Have bad luck
3. Do something REALLY stupid
I bet he pressed the big red UPS cut-off button.
Bloody hell, how do you manage to overwhelm half the fucking datacenter.
[editline]19th April 2012[/editline]
Aw man, i missed my 5000th post.

He could've just announced the winners on Facebook and not do the whole "results will only be available for a limited time, so if you're not there, you won't know until next week".
So much room for activities!
