You must really hate someone to plug that into their computer.
Does that even plug into a computer? Looks like a UK telephone jack to me.

Plug it into the broadband filter at the wallsocket then!
Whatever the reason, it looks cool.
Looks cool, I feel bad for the guy(s) that has to fix it
Someone just sent a mail to a bunch of security mailing lists about an official Microsoft image.
The image for POSReady 2009 evaluation has a registry key that basically tells Windows to execute some stuff in a dll on login.
The registry key was left there by a virus, which means the machine that they imaged at Microsoft was infected with some virus, however the .dll doesn't exist so it was apparently removed but the registry key is still there.
The .dll location is %windir%\\temp\sso\\ssoexec.dll
To complete the fuck-up, the access controls on the directory on systems that are installed from that CD allow any unprivileged user to create a subdirectory called "sso" in %windir%\temp, and you can also copy your own .dll to that subdirectory, which you'll probably call ssoexec.dll
This means you can run anything you want on any user that logs on, on a machine that was installed from that official image.

2012-02-03 vendor replies:
"The registry key and DLL are part of the Windows embedded
software package and their existence is expected."
.oO(OUCH! they must be joking...)
2012-02-04 informed vendor that SSOEXEC.DLL is NOT part of any Windows
software package
2012-02-06 vendor replies:
"we are still looking and hope to provide clarification soon."
2012-02-06 vendor replies:
"this reference in no way indicates there is or ever was a
virus on our build systems."
2012-02-08 asked vendor to consider that both
<http://www.bing.com/search?q=ssoexec> and
<https://encrypted.google.com/search?num=100&safe=off&q=%22ssoexec%22+OR+%22ssoreset%22>
only find hits that show problems with malware
2012-03-04 no more answer from vendor, report published

And (probably unless there's surge protection which iirc there isn't at the cabinet) blow up the roadside cabinet and fuck over your entire street and then have a BT engineer fuming at your door, there's a great idea
So, these newfangled AMD cards, are they dual GPU yet?
Because I don't feel like getting two cards, since that would also mean a new motherboard.
And besides, I don't need something new, I just want to play Tribes and Stalker with three screens.

I don't see the problem here, it would force BT to actually spend some money on their infrastructure.

Spend your money on their infrastructure after they sue you for the hilarious amount of damage it would do

Is that a Windows version for incredibly bad computers?

How would they know who did it if it just blew all of the shit?
How would they know who did it if it just blew all of the shit?
Because I'd imagine the trail of destruction would start from where your line enters
I fucking hate the newest WLM. It is gay as fuck.
You want to change your name? Go log into our website and change there, fuck you!
Want to do x/y/z? Impossible because we are gay like that.
And now it is like the fifth fucking time when it shows half the people as offline and does not load their DP-s. 2009 was much better but I can not uninstall and reinstall this shit sadly. `2009 says You have a newer version, go fuck yourself with a giant dick or use the crappy version.
[editline]5th March 2012[/editline]
And you can not fucking send images properly. I mean, if you paste a link, it sends the link AND the picture. Why the fuck would you do that? The quality is worse and .gif-s will not load.

Expecting X-fire to work with anything above aero is like expecting to get powerline networking by using an etherkiller.
Kepler will be better and won't include terrorist grade drivers.

I forced all my friends to switch to Skype a few years back, it took a while but it was worth it.
Some guy in the US just sent me a $370 check for fixing his PC over TV.
15 minutes work O-o.
USPS better not fucking lose it like they did with my last package.

I can't force that many people to skype. And everybody here has a crappy PC so they can't really run two programs at once as most of them have like 512MB of RAM, if lucky, 1GB.

I bet half the people getting it have no idea what it actually is.

Made me want to buy it.
My old SeaGate FreeAgent Go external HDD wouldn't let my wipe it and I needed some permission to delete some files.
So I formatted the bitch.

I hope they make a SATA controller module for it. I'd get one in a heartbeat if i knew they were going to do that.

Even a 2.5" would triple the size and weight of it, although I wouldn't object, it'd still be mighty small.
I see a lot of people buying them just because they're "cool" and they want a tiny computer that runs Linux, it's really made for programming, not to put it in a shitty paper case and brag about it, although I wouldn't mind one for a tiny HTPC for streaming media.
I want one, I would probably only use as a portable media station though.
I don't know how to program at all :(
An iPod HDD would be pretty cool, can you even get drives that small from OEM's now?

I'd use one as a VERY small NAS.

So would I.
[yay mini nas]

It's not like I'd buy a GPU which needs the invocations of the elder ones to install drivers anyway.
I was asking because if they are, Nvidia is going to have to step up their game, which means healthy competition and good prices(eventually).
If anyone wants cheap HDDs
look for stuff like this
Sky HD boxes have normal 3.5" SATA drives double the boxes advertised size in them. Normal sky+ boxes have IDE HDDs in them, also double the sky boxes advertised size.
I'm terrible. I saw video of an updated TH10.
I want one. Perhaps sometime end of this year.

And yet, the only question my mind came up with was.
"I wonder how the phases are connected"
