Buy a proper GPU.
What would be a good one that would work with the stock power supply?
Better than lava.
RUDE
What would be a good one that would work with the stock power supply?
What is the power rating of your power supply? And what is your budget?
What is the power rating of your power supply? And what is your budget?
Yeah I don't think many good GPUs would run off of this power supply. I guess I'll wait; I think getting a decent power supply would go over what money I have right now ($150)
I'd make an obligatory dragon dildo post here, but some no-fun moderator didn't appreciate that in the last thread. Hey guys.

Apple should take it, put a shiny case around it and charge $200 extra.

I found the problem with that article.
I got a 1150rpm, 800rpm, and 500rpm version to see how they compare. 500RPM is literalally impossible to hear after like 12 inches, 800RPM maybe after 2feet it disappears into silence. 1150RPM, is heard at around 4 feet, but here is the great thing, it's heard noise, but the noise is like a baby's ass. it's so fucking smooth. I plan on getting the 1450RPM and 1850RPm versions to compare when they are instock, but the noise is higher, pressure is MUCH higher but mainly the fans have a incredibly smooth sound profile.

I want to cut the power to my server's fan's by 50%, Cant do it by software though and the connecters for the fans are some specific HP Shit. This the connector (the fan connector is behind the screwdriver)
Newegg's egg saver shipping (4-7 days) sucks. This is what has happened after two days. I've gotten packages with the 3-day shipping that have shipped in 2.

I'm getting some odd stuttering, think it's coming from my GPU. It's not just in games, happens all the time. Everything will freeze up for a few milliseconds (along with audio, it sort of makes a buzzing sound) and then unfreeze and it'll do this 8-10 times within a few seconds and then again shortly after. It'll also happen 2 or 3 times, then stop for a while, then do it again. I was thinking of just returning my card (an MSI 5770) but I think I'm out of warranty for it (I bought it in December 2010) [editline]1st March 2012[/editline] what do
Looks like SOMEBODY doesn't know what the innards of a PC look like. @ that dumb article on the PI
:smug:
If you mounted all the fans you've bought, you'd have a cosmos ship.
srsly these fans are just mind blowing. [editline]1st March 2012[/editline] I now understand why they are always sold out.
this is just getting worse when it happens my network connection seems to lag out, and if I can hear my hard drive reading/writing when it's happening it'll go quiet when the stuttering is happening

Might be able to find some sort of pin info.
srsly these fans are just mind blowing. [editline]1st March 2012[/editline] I now understand why they are always sold out.
So then you'd recommend them? I thinking of getting two to replace the terribly loud fans on my V6GT cooler.
