Is there any way to get a HAF 912 Advanced in the US? I can't find them for sale anywhere
You can't
That seems dumb to me
That seems dumb to me
I guarantee other countries feel the same way when we get something, and they don't.
Uh. Last I saw (a week ago) they were on Cooler Master's oline store. [editline]6th March 2012[/editline] Unless they're literally gone everywhere then I have no idea except maybe ebay.
Checked ebay and their store is down. Do you know how much it was when it was up? I may be in love [editline]6th March 2012[/editline]
I guarantee other countries feel the same way when we get something, and they don't.
Why you gotta be like that?
I want a robot that just flies around the planet, shooting stupid people.
Just wait until my Argus Network goes up. 99 % accurate to hit stupid people, even when underground. Just need an approx $9 million more to send it into orbit, It's in my garage for now
my 6870 just came in incoming orgasm
my 6870 just came in incoming orgasm
What did you have before?
My typing is a bit weird. I look at the keyboard quickly to align my fingers, then I type using my index and middle fingers, occasionally my ring fingers. I look back at the keyboard every now and then to realign my fingers. Never really got round to learning to touch type.
That's what the little bumps are for on f and j. Well, I assume anyway.
I know I have to build a computer by the time I get into college eventually (august) but I don't know when the right time to upgrade is. Should I just hold it off till the last minute so I can get the best deals on whatever hardware, are there sales to look out for or should I not wait around? Current computer is the computer equivalent of a quadriplegic (EVERYTHING is near-death) but it's chugging along
That's what the little bumps are for on f and j. Well, I assume anyway.
Indeed they are, but as I said, I never got round to learning touch typing.
What did you have before?
8800GTS fun fact my PSU didn't have the right connectors so I had to spend the past 2 hours searching for wire and plastic to make an adapter
Whose alt are you?
What? I'm not a alt.
Whose alt are you?
I'm going to guess TonyTheBean.
Man, Windows Server is such a pain. I have Active Directory Domain Services setup, everything works fine BUT one user group, I set up some logon scripts and used group policy manager for each usergroup, they all work except for one group. The logon scripts just automatically apply SMB shares to network drives, simple shit. Problem is one of the groups lacks 1 of it's shares and gives the admin share. Wtf? [editline]7th March 2012[/editline] Also, this is what I work with at school.
Are we doing this again?
I could have used 3dmark and nobody would have complained but I had cs:s installed so fuck the police
CS:S is the official benchmark of CIPWTTKT&GC .
I'm going to guess TonyTheBean.
Isn't he unbanned now?

-snop awful of me- What a terrible pageking.
Man, why have I never discovered this place before? I went into a little computer shop today, as a friend had told me they had the exact laptop I wanted (an Asus G74SX). Well, he was slightly off - they'd already sold their current inventory (of one), and it was a slightly different model (750GB HD/8GB RAM instead of 500GB HD/12GB RAM), but it was still worth a visit. Computer parts... everywhere. An entire display case of hard drives and SSDs (they had 512GB SSDs in stock!), *actual* gaming graphics cards (6950 was the highest-end I saw), cases (mostly Antec and Rosewill - not ricer shit AFAIC). And a TON of old shit. DB-9 to DB-25 serial adapters? SCSI cables? 56k modems? They had it. And, best of all, the guy running it a) knows his stuff and b) doesn't bullshit people. I told him I was price-checking that laptop, he asked me a bit about what I'd use it for and advised me that "I'd get more bang for my buck from a desktop". Which is completely true, of course, but it's rather hard to use a desktop on the shitter. That's not the excuse I told him, obviously - I said I'm on the move a lot, need to have portable computing power. We chatted some more, he pulled up Newegg and pointed some stuff out. I spent a while just browsing the shop, contemplating what to build. He'd brought up a good point about storage, suggesting an NAS to solve the problem of me *never* having enough hard drive space. I looked around, did some mental math, and decided building a FreeNAS box can wait until hard drive prices drop. So yeah. If any of you are in the central Virginia area, I declare "2000.Net Computers" an Official (c) CIPWTTKT&GC Hangout, and Mike Au an honorary CIPWTTKT&GCer. SO DECREES THE EMPEROR In a related bit, I need to rethink my laptop choice. Which would be more important: an extra 4GB of RAM (8->12GB), or an extra 250GB of hard drive space (500->750GB)? Everything is identical otherwise, and including price. Or, should I see if I can get both features for a reasonable price (if the 8GB model has empty RAM slots, fill them up?)?
