While iOS is a bit odd-looking on a large screen, at least the tablet apps tend to be well made. From what I've seen, tablet apps for Android are a bit lacking in comparison due to the unpredictable hardware and screen sizes. It has a better CPU and GPU, which seems to be fairly powerful considering the games they were showing off. The CPU is only a dual core, though I don't think many apps are going to need that sort of power for a while. It also has a better camera, though you would look like a tool trying to take a picture with it. I'm still on the fence... For a graduation gift, I'm still leaning toward a $369 Dell U2412M. My kindle, 4" smartphone and laptop handle my mobile computing needs just fine, so I don't think a tablet would be worth the money.

Tablets are niche. It, for me, is funner to use in bed than an iPod and less of a hassle than a laptop and good for school with a Bluetooth keyboard and better battery life.

Heh, just got a drop of sweat on the motherboard. Ain't wiped it off yet as I can't really find it. Will I be fine?

This could cause a short and destroy my mobo or maybe the other parts of the computer. Also, it was clinging to the mobo while it was in its normal position, so there's a chance that maybe other sweat drops or trails are still clinging to the mobo.

I just got a dock + charger for this Xoom and I got to chat with Motorola support and now they are sending me a replacement charger to isolate the issue. Way to lose $22.

My Zalman VE200's LCD screen is fucked up, so I'm getting an RMA for it. Annoyingly, the RMA number only works for 15 days, which is cutting it close with customs.

I always wear watches on my wrist because it's easier than pulling out my phone and unlocking it all the time. So, one morning a friend looks at me and says "Hey, do you know what time it is?" And of course, I answer her, "Of course, it's half past eight." So she stares at me for 5 seconds, and in the snarkiest voice ever says, "Well, what is that in numbers?"
