AMD Phenom II X4 945
If noise is just the issue and dust isn't causing it then you could invest in a decent fan. If heat is also an issue then you should invest in a decent aftermarket cooler depending on your budget. Be careful though, since you mentioned you were using a prebuilt there may be motherboard irregularities or unique case size restraints that could prevent you from doing the latter option.

It's the noise, a fan should be all that's needed. Scoot, by any chance would you know how big your cooler's fan is?
Quick question, when my Raspberry Pi arrives I will need a display to plug it into, and rather than hod the 42" TV in the living room I would rather use one of my own.
Her temps remained unchanged. It's the noise, a fan should be all that's needed.
Then why suggest a new heatsink in your previous post?
Her temps remained unchanged. It's the noise, a fan should be all that's needed.
Not even that. 2 drops of 3 in 1 oil onto this A few rotations to get the oil in properly then a bit of tape fixes it.
Then why suggest a new heatsink in your previous post?
Because until I read your post, I missed the temps detail. Call it bad reading.

Derpmeifter told me to post this so I must do as he commands. [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12335423/post.png[/t]

Does dvi have pins dedicated to analogue output?
If the fan-oil deal doesn't work out, I can ship one of my fans to you. Most of them are in the box.
I'm not sure how big my fan is, and it was opened up a few months ago to clean it out (it was virtually spotless). The buzzing started before then and didn't get any better or worse afterwards. But as a guesstimate, ehm... 3 in. x 3 in. total, I don't know really. My dad is good with mechanical things so he could probably oil the fan for me (can't trust my klutz self). If that doesn't work, I'll post back. But idk when I'll get around to it v:v:v
brt is an artiste and fans are his paint~
Apparently I have all of next week off since it's Spring Break. Non of my teachers/professors ever mentioned it. I have no idea what I should do the that week. give me ideas

It's not actually deleting the files, just the record they exist! Imagine how long it'd take to do a "proper" delete.
So, do I install W8 on my main computer or not?
So, do I install W8 on my main computer or not?
I recommend installing it on a separate partition and doing a dual boot of 7 and 8.
okay, coooooooool
okay, coooooooool
It's easy, I did it on my netbook. First open disk management and shrink your primary partition by about 25 GB. Using the new unallocated space, make a new partition. Then give the partition a name like "Windows 8" Then whenever you're installing it, choose custom installation and click on the "Windows 8" partition. Wait for it to finish and enjoy.
