Xbox 360: Platform alive but hard to approach for beginners. Windows: Platform alive due to monopoly, age starting to show, Microsoft slightly afraid to apply restrictions to platform due to anti-trust lawsuits and such, but Windows 8 might be a whole different thing.

So I opened up my PC and cleaned it all out with an air compressor, connected the front chassis fan to PWR_FAN, wiped down the outside of my case, and overclock my cpu to 3.6ghz. I haven't cleaned it ever, and I've had it for about a year and a half.

How well does mono work? I really like C# but want to start doing projects on my R π. I'd normally go to Java but it's not very efficient I think, right? There'd be lots of overhead for the JVM
