Well, Skype is better in one way for me. I can use it anywhere in the UK for free on my phone.

Skype is completely free for anyone on the 3 network in the UK. Doesn't count towards your data usage (which I have none of at all). Mumble would.

It's push to mute isn't it? I have to hold the hotkey for it to mute then when I release the hotkey it lets me talk again. If this is just me then I have no idea why.

Edit: Just tested, the "push to talk" lets me mute my microphone for the duration that I hold the key down. Probably easier to use mute microphone instead.

Someone did a comparison of Skype, TS3, Vent and Mumble some years back. I believe TeamSpeak or Skype was rated the worst and Ventrilo the best (because of the voice quality, I think). Does someone have a link to that thing?

I find TS3 to be pretty damn awful.

I used mumble once but that was forever ago.

I use Vent for WoW and Skype for everything else.

Vent is only good if everyone has good mic, a bad mic is torture on everyone's ears.
