Wondering if I should sell my two 580's before the price drop and get one or two 680's.

Today a computer came into the shop I work/intern/whatever at. The problem was that whenever a camera was plugged in, the mouse stopped responding, and the motherboard was replaced a few months ago in the very same shop (likely fried) and was handled by a different intern since I wasn't there at the time. To make sure the owner wasn't just being completely incompetent, he was told to also bring in his peripherals so we can see if they're the problematic parts. So I plug it in, turn it on, and of course it was running a cracked 7 on 512MB of ram, barely even working on its own, but whatever. I plug in the camera, all is well. I turn it on, mouse loses power and the displayed video has horrible scanlines. To make sure the camera wasn't completely busted, I connect it on a different computer and it works well. My first assumption is that the PSU was shot in a really bizarre manner. Then I notice a fan that isn't spinning. Since it was connected to the motherboard, I turn the computer off to disconnect it and inspect for any visible damage, or if it was perhaps plugged in upside down. It wasn't. Turns out someone (likely the intern before me) plugged the fan into this: [IMG]http://cfile28.uf.tistory.com/image/1240AA0F4B11145531301D[/IMG] Placing a jumper there completely solved the problem. Which means he had to remove the existing jumper (system wouldn't boot without it) and THEN decided to plug a fan in. The only think ill be using it for is probably browsing facebook and being social (BBM is a plus) which is why I would prefer it to a Android phone because I doubt ill use it for gaming. I dont want to risk breaking the iphones screen either. I dont even know how im going to afford £400.

That CV actually looks quite nice. I would simply be more specific in the top section. You make it seem so vague that anyone could have those skills. Like the modifying your computer for added performance. I think you could make that sound more impressive. Like tweaks and tuning upgraded hardware for increased performance and application productivity.

On the whole "breaking the glass on the iphone" bit: My friend dropped his iPhone 4S on pavement when it was raining and watched it slide like 10 feet downhill. Not a single scratch.
