If you are looking into gaming on your laptop, a Windows based PC is the way to go. Not because Mac still needs some drivers to run Source games flawlessly, but simply because the GPU in Windows laptop equally priced iis better. ALOT better. I think you could get a much faster laptop ffor that kind of money, but if you like OSX, sure, get a Mac. JUst don't count on playing games like BF:BC2 and such. No way a Mac is going to play that well.
Yeah, that I'm aware of, so I'm looking at HP as another option, as I love their hardware designs as well. Yep, I like nice looking computers. There's also another reason for why I'm looking at a MBP, which is that I like to dabble in different things i.e. OSX. Although there is the hackintoshing option, as of now I can only run 10.5 with a customised disc, as my motherboard doesn't support AHCI so I can't use my retail disc (although I think a custom 10.6 disc was released a week or so ago), and also, I've searched up and down for audio card drivers for my motherboard, and none of them work. ASUS P5K SE/EPU, I've tried ALC883Audio.mpkg and some random ALC885 drivers I found somewhere, with a lot of drivers I've found being ignored as they explicitly state they're for 10.6
