4gb
exactly my point.
Ugh, they removed the file menu and the home button and call it a new version. FF is turning into IE, I'll stay with 3.5.
This is 2009. 2002 is over there.
The door's over there, don't let it hit you in the ass on your way out.
wow. i agree with you.
That's what the green checkmark button is for. Can't we just discuss the actual topic instead of arguing about Chrome and FF and posting task manager screenshots? I'm sure they'll have an option to enable the regular menubar, or at least someone will write an add-on to.
YES The UI design went downhill when 3 came out (I loved 2's), but now it's awesome.
This is 2009. 2002 is over there.
2009 sucks ass. Give me 2002 back. At least back then they had designers, not stupid monkeys.
We've had it since the 90's. Get used to change. Even if it's years late.
Fuck that attitude. It's a shitty one. "Change" isn't an excuse for making stupid design decisions. You've brought that up way too many times now, it's ridiculous.
Did they fixed those memory leaks yet?
Yeah, that was 3.0. Firefox is the browser that requires the least memory.
Well let's see, thousands of people complain that FireFox takes up 100% cpu load when it is ideling very frequently, and it's a memory whore
Not that CPU usage has anything to do with memory leaks, "thousands of people" are wrong. Yes, shitty plugins (flash) can raise your CPU usage significantly, yes, addons can add to the memory requirements, but no, Firefox, by default, for hundreds of thousands of users, does not suffer from those issues. If your Firefox does, file in a bug report. No addons, no plugins.
... Great.. 2 new things that will fill even more and that i dont need.. AHH! How many TOOLS button do we need?
It's a better design. More minimalist, which is what firefox needed.
Oh please. The lone button that covers all that crap is there. There's no need for the old toolbar. Hell and most likely, just like every other browser, you hit alt to make it show.
OH GOD MY MENU BAR WHERE IS IT NOOOOOOO Shutup.
OH GOD MY MENU BAR WHERE IS IT NOOOOOOO Shutup.
no thanks. go off with chrome and the two buttons.
no thanks. go off with chrome and the two buttons.
They could at least integrate it somewhere and save space. No need for a whole toolbar where 50% of it is empty.
They could at least integrate it somewhere and save space. No need for a whole toolbar where 50% of it is empty.
they should just make the button on the other side and i might not hate it. except the menu bar is more organized.
yea, it should at least be on the other side. maybe then it wouldnt suck. maybe.
I like IE's implementation. Throw it on the tabbar. I know some people with 400,000 tabs open won't like it but they can scroll.
I like IE's implementation. Throw it on the tabbar. I know some people with 400,000 tabs open won't like it but they can scroll.
that could work. but i still like my menu bar better.
yea thats a great idea but i'm pretty fucking stubborn so ill stick with something that is crap
Oh really?
Oh really?
nope great idea, and better than it being retarded on the wrong side are two different things.
I jizzed a little :3
people should quit bitching about the menubar going away, it's not like you won't be able to download an addon to revert to the old theme the new theme looks much sexier [editline]04:22AM[/editline] most computers nowadays come with 3072MB of RAM installed and people are bitching about FF using 200MB? really? the app that they're likely using the most?
people should quit bitching about the menubar going away, it's not like you won't be able to download an addon to revert to the old theme the new theme looks much sexier
well i like the theme, just not the fact there's no menubar.
well i like the theme, just not the fact there's no menubar.
yes but there will be an addon available within the first few days it comes out, I can guarantee it
yes but there will be an addon available within the first few days it comes out, I can guarantee it
there better be.
The Alt key. All browsers that hide it use the Alt key to show it.
whaaaaaaaaaa no menu bar
whaaaaaaaaaa no menu bar
basically
The design ideas for 4.0 go a lot further, tabs above the address bar and they move them into the titlebar. If they do move them into the titlebar, I hope to god there's an addon that reverses it, tabs in the titlebar are stupid.
no thanks. go off with chrome and the two buttons.
you are very mature and are setting a good example for firefox users!
you are very mature and are setting a good example for firefox users!
great. idk if other people use firefox. i'm not trying to impress people like chrome users are.
Looks like Opera 10's skin.
