both work great, only issue i have had with either is the touchscreen in the keyboard spamming windows media player. happend twice in the few months ive owned it, so not too bad.

if I wanted to use the numpad, I'd probably just use... the numpad
or if I wanted it to feel even more useless, I could switch it to the number row
It is good for what I use it for which is playing WOW, somehow I don't think you would get the same level of control using WASD and the number pad

they're keys, you push them, that's all the "control" involved
if it's that much of an effort for you to move your hand from one side of the keyboard to the other then you have much bigger problems to worry about than how quickly you can button mash
