put it in the damn oven. trust me.
temporary fix
temporary fix
Temporary and unreliable. It doesn't actually reflow the solder connections at all, but potentially destroys them and other heat sensitive components even more. Heatgun or a proper reflow station is the correct way to go.
Maybe try rolling back to older drivers? I know I sometimes got this problem with installing some newer drivers. Installing the ones on my GPU CD fixed it though.
From his other thread.
oh okay./\
Usually when my gfx card fucks up from a driver update I just use driver sweeper in safe mode and then reinstall drivers but that's already been suggested
If you have two new cards on the way, just take some time off to enjoy older games that can run off your mobo's VGA controller. I just had some epic runs of Age of Empires II in low resolution. Wololoo!
Starcraft works too
Driver Sweep, Uninstall Windows, Reinstall Windows, Reinstall Drivers, Success! (hopefully)
What would be the point of a driver sweep if he was going reinstall windows? Why not defrag before reinstalling as well?
Make sure your card is in right, boot into Safe Mode, run Driver Sweeper, install fresh drivers.
Yay! Just got my card, they sent me a Zotac GeForce GTX 285, I think this works
