Wait for Windows 8.

theres mine I would be running in a higher Res if It wasn't for the low res of my secondary monitor
and the wallpapers are self created
You know, you can independantly change resolution.
Lower than standard res on a flat panel display looks bloody awful!
Just installed a new theme

I'm liking it a lot so far
Are there any other ways to allow custom W7 themes than overwriting .dlls?
I couldn't do it, and even when Derpmeifter teamviewed me he still couldn't get it working.

Just do this in elevated cmd:
takeown /f uxtheme.dll
takeown /f themeui.dll
takeown /f shsvcs.dll
icacls uxtheme.dll /grant Administrators:F
icacls themeui.dll /grant Administrators:F
icacls shsvcs.dll /grant Administrators:F
ren uxtheme.dll uxtheme.bak
ren themeui.dll themeui.bak
ren shsvcs.dll shsvcs.bak
Then drop the new ones in there and reboot.

Looks gimmicky and calls 7 Se7en. I wouldn't use it even if it is decent.
Using a take ownership option added to the context menu and then just renaming is much better, and you know exactly what's going on.
Been using this setup for the last couple months.

Theme is Win7-Blend, no idea on the start orb. Token icons, obviously. Wallpapers cycle between a folder of 8 (and 5 of those are ones I shot in GT5's Photomode for extreme sexiness). I try and keep it tidy.

I do have a few questions though: How can I replace my folder icons? How can I get rid of the loading thing on the steam app (download progress or something) and how can I get the iTunes shortcut to stop being a prick? (I change it and it stays, then it just uses the old one while still using the new one ???)
How can I get rid of the loading thing on the steam app (download progress or something)
Permanently? I think setting it to run in Vista compatibility mode would do it but you'd lose jumplists as well. Temporarily? Tell Steam to stop downloading whatever it is.

uhh what
Fixed Steam, there isn't a way to stop and eliminate downloads though.
This is what I'm talking about with iTunes. (those are the same shortcut right next to eachother)

I think you need to pin the iTunes icon while it's open. Then right click on it, right click on "iTunes" in the jumplist, click properties and change the icon from there. I think it changes when you restart your pc.
