Long time since I've posted here I guess, so...

I was just finishing up my laptop last night and am quite happy with what I have. I have a couple questions though, first off; what would you guys suggest for an icon pack? Secondly...
How do I make this fat fuck:

lose some goddamn weight, I know how to shrink it but it immediately goes back to being an obese space hog after logging off.
I had Lucid Icons, now have Token icons.
Does anyone have any good Token icons for games? Please?

He didn't ask where to put it, he asked how to make it slimmer.

okay i'm not sure how the process went exactly, but it's something like this
- set it to the bottom of the screen (isn't permanent)
- set to autohide and use small icons
- move back to left side of screen
- remove autohide
it's some combination of those steps that actually makes it slimmer than regular Use Small Icons taskbars
While I'm here. Does anyone know why I can't change my theme?
If I try to change my theme, it just reverts back to classic.

You need a uxtheme patch. I recommend: http://uxstyle.com

Yeah, thats what I was doing before but it isnt permanent, every time my computer logs off or goes into hibernate it resets. I would be fine with that if it was on my desktop but this is on my laptop. Whatever, it isnt a big deal, i'll just find a bigger version of that startmenu icon and i will be fine. I have lived with a fat ass taskbar for long enough that im used to it now.

Already patched. That's why I'm confused.

For shits and giggles, I decided to re-patch. That seemed to have worked, so somehow, my patched files got overwritten with the original ones.

Trying to keep it organized and functional.
Also, any idea how to turn off military time?

Is that rainmeter? Right click the clock and select "edit skin." The rest should be pretty self-explanatory.

No, not at all.
I am horribly confused here... How do I go about installing an icon pack from deviantart? I cant seem to fine any place that explains it. All of the information that I have found has pointed me toward "iconpackager" or some other program that you have to pay for. Would anyone here mind pointing me towards a tutorial or something?

Right click the clock and select "edit skin" there should be a line called [MeasureTime] there should also be a line called Format under it. Change the H to and I and that should fix it.

If you hardpatched (ie if you used pre patched dlls and replace the ones in system32) then you'll have to do that everytime Windows updates those files or you install a service pack. Which is why I recommend UXStyle as it automatically finds the address location of the function which checks to see if an msstyles file is signed or not and patches it in memory.

Took the pic myself a few days ago when we had some really strange clouds. Not too bad for a little 12 MP point-and-shoot camera.
Reasoning behind the file name...
[sp]I did not realize I had 7 GB of shit in my recycle bin till I bothered to look in the bottom right corner.[/sp]
Edit: Turns out it was a corrupted ISO from uhh... A linux distro I was trying out...
