I run Ubuntu 11.10, but I decieded I liked the classic GNOME setup more. I do have a dual monitor setup, but the monitors are different resolutions, messing it all up.

I was amazed on how cool it was too, because it's a GTX 470 Superclocked.

I can tell you right now you do not use any of the meters in the top right, don't try and kid yourself. If you have to have desktop icons, get either a fitting pack or organize them into folders. Since you're using 7, you might want to consider removing your dock altogether, as the taskbar functions as a pretty fantastic dock by itself - if that doesn't work you may want to consider [url=http://www.launchy.net/]launchy[/url], although this is only personal preference. I'm not going to mention the wallpaper as that is personal preference but be aware that it is part of the reason you got boxes, as most of facepunch generally dislikes anime.
