I wish Microsoft could actualy make a nice looking start orb for once...

As for start orbs, for some reason every one I try turns out ugly one way or another. Mostly the edges. I do of course change my desktop background and window color, I just never saw the point in forcing different themes or replacing the start orb or anything like that. Why fix what isn't broken? But of course it's all a matter of opinion, no need to discuss it further. I'm just wondering exactly what it is people dislike about the start orb.

It's round. While windows and the taskbar are square, also its beveled and sticks out where other UI elements do not.
