If you want to have a dual-monitor background, make a picture the exact res of your monitors combined, then set your background options to tile.

I didn't ask what was running, I was asking why you need them all always showing. Over half of that shit doesn't give you any information at all.
Let's go through them all and see what icons give you no information making them pointless to always be seen.
No, maybe (sync status), no, no, no, no, no, sure, I guess you could leave this here just in case you forget that your laptop has a touch pad (no), no, sure, sure, sure.
The whole point of the system tray flyout is to host application icons which don't give you any information. The point of the regular system tray is to host icons that give you information, like sound, battery life, or via 3rd party programs, number of unread emails, calendar events, etc.
