Why are there 3/4 different font rendering styles in those screenshots?

I personally prefer having the Recycling bin on my desktop so when I do work I can toss things into it to clean up the project area. Then when I'm done I just Shift+Delete everything in the bin.

I'm probably the only person who refuses to even use the Recycle bin. Despite the fact I have it disabled and marked C:\$Recycle.bin as read-only shit still manages to find its way in there.

when you "delete" the recycling bin everything you delete is permanent

Shift+Delete. Though having the Recycle Bin turned off you don't have to hold shift, it just became a habit.
I use a program called minibin, puts the recycle bin in the icon tray

Why do you have two shortcuts for Chrome on your desktop?

Yes, the icons on the taskbar have been changed to the dark versions, the changes just haven't propagated over there yet.
And no, killing and restarting explorer.exe doesn't work, nor is it an option.

And that's one big reason I never bother changing taskbar icons. Changing them just rarely works. I know it should work if you remove the shortcuts, make new shortcuts on desktop, change the icons there and pin THOSE, but that's just too much work. And it only lasts so long, because they might or might not with a new wallpaper and/or theme.

They change for me every time the taskbar refreshes.
Which in my case seems to be "whenever it feels like it"
I've cleaned my desktop quite a bit, I'm proud.

Music could probably go in my documents, but there are too many dependencies on it being there to move it right now. Still, a lot better than it was about 20 minutes ago.
Also, I'm one to always be changing my wallpapers, but, for some reason, I'm just not getting tired of this wallpaper, I love it. I haven't changed it since I first applied it in August.
