That isn't some Windows 8 thing right? Sure looks like it. I'd like to get my desktop to look like that. Got lots of empty space.
What is wrong with you guys? You have no taste at all...
What is wrong with you guys? You have no taste at all...
I bet you're 11 and think that a cunt with syphilis and fake titties is attractive.
I bet you're 11 and think that a cunt with syphilis and fake titties is attractive.
No, I'm 17 and think that a cunt with syphilis and fake titties is attractive, but I bet rating everyone dumb because they don't have the same taste as you makes you cooler...

I highly, highly doubt that you are 17; if you are then there is something wrong with you, normal folk get done with the risque photo phase around 13. Usually people have at least decent taste as well......
dunno if i've posted my laptop yet probably, but fuck you
How do you even use this?
uh the same way you'd use any other openbox setup. That isn't windows, if that's what you're confused about. Right-clicking empty desktop space in openbox brings up a menu with a list of programs, dmenu handles the rest.
oh, still kinda impractical don't you think? having all that empty space.
You think he would be staring at an empty desktop all day long? All that 'empty space' mostly means more screen space for Firefox or whatever he would be doing.
I don't know how exactly openbox works but I don't think a shortcut or 2 would take space away from firefox and other windows.
He just explained how openbox works. You don't need shortcuts in that setup.
you don't need shortcuts in windows either.
What is your point? Having shortcuts for the sake of not having empty space is stupid.
that background is awesome
I believe someone made it using the new High res 1.9 Crysis 2 patch. It gave Dx11 a big shot of cocaine and it's going into over drive if I'm correct.
my point is that its faster to doubleclick an icon than right click and then click on firefox. am I missing something. I don't know what openbox is exaclty. would icons overlap with firefox or something ?
yeah and it's even faster for me to alt+p and type the name of the binary i want to launch what's ur point m8

Just got a shiny new Asus Eee Slate EP121 for a paid internship I'm doing... this thing's awesome. Spent some time yesterday making my desktop beautiful. Rainmeter theme is Elegance2, wallpaper from wallbase.cc.
Sexy. Is that part of the recent trend where employers just hand out handheld computers for no discernible reason, or is it actually used for something?
My friend's dad is the CEO of a company that makes night vision/thermal imaging scopes for the military, so we managed to score a sweet paid internship where we have to get some project done by a deadline, when we're going to get flown out to a military base in Georgia to present the combined efforts of the company working on this new scope for several months, and our 2-3 months worth of work on our end of the project (not sure if it's classified so I'm not going to get into details here). We got the tablets because we want the program to run on just about every platform possible, including Windows 7 with multitouch. If they like our project and we get a contract, then we're going to port to Android, iOS, etc - and we'll probably end up getting free Macbooks and iPads for that. The tablets were the cost of our first milestone payment, so it's not EXACTLY free, but I didn't have to spend any of my money to get it - it's just the form I was paid in.

Does rainmeter have a negative effect on your system performance?
Been using this set-up for around 1 month now, seems all right - although I might change the wallpaper soon. Just so you guys know, the wallpaper is a bit grainy and blurred - not the image itself, as far as I'm aware.
Does rainmeter have a negative effect on your system performance?
Minimal at best. Only 8,500k memory on my end.
Does rainmeter have a negative effect on your system performance?
yeah if you're still on a 486
Does rainmeter have a negative effect on your system performance?
Technically yes. However the effect is so small it's like it's not even there.
