Well whatever. If its so aweful, then find me something that i can monitor RAM and CPU usage, and also the CPU temperature, that looks better and is more functional and takes up less space then what my current does. Hard drive is not necessary, but network usage is a great plus.
The task manager takes up by far too much space on a 1600x900 resolution.
And it doesn't show the temperature of the cpu, so i'd have to run hwmonitor next to it.
So we're at 4MB of usage so far...

Are you stupid or what.
Why do you think i mentioned the resolution.

Wow, calm down, I was giving you something that provided temps...
I'm quite calm, why do you jump to silly conclusions. Your suggestion was dumb and pointless, yet you're defending yourself?

So rate me dumb instead of calling me stupid. I was saying that there are alternatives. Oh, and pro-tip, you can resize windows...
Merely rating you dumb won't really make my point. And i don't recall the taskmanager to be resizable to the same size as one small rainmeter application.

No you weren't.
In fact, you make no sense what so ever.
Holy shit this is getting out of hand.
every time someone mentions someone disliking rainmeter this happens
Haha I don't see the controversy around it, if it's bad oh well. Not like you're seeing it every time you boot your PC
Do I have to post stopfighting..jpg again?

Working on writing new Rainmeter skins for my desktop.

Any ideas/suggestions for the CPU meter? The quarter circles grow and shrink with usage and the numbers are temps.

Wow! I really like this because allows me to have all my temps in my system tray.
My thanks to you, kind sir!

Two clocks and a dock on Windows 7...why?

"Minimalist" with a redundant dock?
Reduces everything to 1 click with some cool effects
Reduces everything to 1 click with some cool effects
If you're talking about the dock you do realize the Windows 7 taskbar functions exactly like rocketdock does while actually being minimal, right?
yes, are you alright with me experimenting with other programs?
yes, are you alright with me experimenting with other programs?
Just making sure you realize that dock programs are pointless on Windows 7. And no I'm not alright with you using other programs, I'm throwing together a list of programs approved by me that you can use.
ok thanks

I don't like desktop icons, so I put the recycle bin in my start menu.
The last forum that I posted my desktop on really liked the background and wanted it, so here's a link just in case.

Really liked the background? I think plain color backgrounds are hideous; they're too flat-looking. I think that would look much better with a subtle texture behind the text.

Wrong.
ObjectDock has tabbed docks, which Windows 7 doesn't have. Combine with some auto hide magic and you've pretty much sextupled the amount of stuff you can have on your taskbar without it being cluttered to high hell. And it looks ~stylish~ too

If you're worried about it looking cluttered just use 7stacks, it looks way nicer and cleaner than tabs on ObjectDock.
And for auto hide:

I loved using a dock on XP and Vista but there really isn't a use for it on 7 when the taskbar can do the same thing while looking cleaner and being free (Only ObjectDock Plus has tabs and that costs $20).
