So, does everyone have their own custom rainmeter skin they made themselves, or do you guys have a favorite, lots-of-people-use-this type skin?
If you're worried about it looking cluttered just use 7stacks, it looks way nicer and cleaner than tabs on ObjectDock.
And for auto hide:

I loved using a dock on XP and Vista but there really isn't a use for it on 7 when the taskbar can do the same thing while looking cleaner and being free (Only ObjectDock Plus has tabs and that costs $20).
Does that text look blurry to anyone else?

A lot of people here seem to use Omnimo or (if I remember right) the default. :v:

I use Enigma. I'm not sure if it came with Rainmeter or not though.

any better way to put a video on your desktop then to play it mpc? and to keep it in the high resolution. I don't need the sound.
Windows dreamscene, give me 5 minutes, I will get you the details.

Have fun.
i can't understand why people would want to use dreamscene. I have it installed and i used it like twice before i realized it just wasted resources and that i never saw it anyway. Plus if you have two monitors, you can't have a window maximized in one, because it pauses the video on the second.
I can have a video maximized on my second screen and use the first one with no troubles at all?
Doesn't do anything to the video on the second screen as we speak.

Also it gets distracting when using Aero, and most of the videos have horrible artifacting with the format it uses.

I use Enigma (on of the skins you can get off the main Rainmeter website I believe), Gnometer, Pixellance, and Transrounded. My Pixellance stuff is heavily customized though.

Autodumbed for Gyazo.
The color scheme for the wall I don't mind so much as other people. But the sight of that many icons just makes me want to puke. Maybe that's just me, maybe not.

Any tips? I've always failed miserably at applying themes on windows.

This one doesn't quite follow my "I make all of my wallpapers" rule, seeing as how my mom took the picture. But I told her exactly where to stand, where to look, what setting to use, how to position the camera, did the post-processing...
For those curious, The theme is Faience (link to article where I found it) and no, I haven't bothered to change the default font rendering engine.

That's the private link.
Before you ask, put it in the ~/Dropbox/public folder.

And right click it in the public folder and select "Copy Public Link".
