why does imgur compress the shit out of everything
Bandwidth. Use puush.

Laptop, kept it simple.
I'm going to assume those icons look much better on your screen than on the upload.
Holy balls what has imgur done to my sweet icons :tinfoil:

I should probably get a new theme, been too lazy since I reformatted
I wonder if people use Rainmeter because they actually use it, or because it "looks good".
I use it on my secondary monitor for quick and easy access to computer stats like CPU core temps and download speeds. I also have a clock over there too but I've disabled the start bar one because the Rainmeter clock is in a better location.
I would stick it on a secondary monitor if I had one. I'd use the VGA input on my current monitor as a "second" monitor but that seems to cause all sorts of issues for some reason.

wallpaper that i painted myself
I'm clearly not all that great at painting, somewhat recently started, and pretty much the first time that i actually attempt to paint something that isn't a generic hurranime girl, but enough with the excuses for being bad at it :Y
shame that win7 compresses it beyond all recognition
That's a pretty awesome painting  Mind sharing some of your other works?
I do actually, because thats pretty much the only thing i have that doesn't look like complete shit :v:
The previous stuff i did is really bad, and its no point in even bothering.
I've only been painting *properly* for a day, but feel free to request something, and I'll give it a shot.
I like the wallpaper, nice and tidy.

I MADE MINOR CHANGERS

That theme bothers me. The taskbar and the taskband don't match. Look at the border above the start button and the systray and compare it to the one above the middle. The gradient isn't even the same. Not to mention that there's no right border on the side of the open program button.

Wallpaper? Tineye only found an 1280x960 version, which is far too small for me. Is there a bigger version?

Here's the one tineye found, in case anyone wants it: http://www.divamboo.com/images/Chambery.jpg

You can use Google for that too. Google found a 1920x1200 version on http://pozitiv-mir.ru/uploads/posts/2011-06/1308751808_krasivye-oboi-full-hd-44-foto21.jpg

Simple, concise, clean. I like it.

- The blue goo changes between blue and green every five minutes via the magic of Photoshop and slide show backgrounds.

Copy image URL, Google, "Visually similar images", find image, hover over thumbnail (don't click), "More sizes".

First monitor is for games and browsers, second is for everything else.
Stuck on XP for a while, any good themes for it?
