I dont think you have other options then rocketdock or objectdock.
You can change the theme of the docks you know.
Why? the OSX dock is FAR less functional than the superbar.

Objectdock looks more along the lines and I want to hide the windows taskbar completly or get rid of it, Im not really techy at this sort of thing so Im a bit in the dark

You can make rocketdock act exactly like the mac dock, or completely different. It's very flexible. As for getting rid of the taskbar, you can set it to autohide, which will make it invisible until you drag your cursor to a 1px line at the side where the taskbar is.
