For what? That Linux users are delusional? Or that Compiz came in last place between the three major OSes? (which is well-documented, do your own fucking research)
Both. I want to see your sources, bro.

oh look, apple did it in 2001, and MS in 2003. linux didn't have anything like it until 2004, and compiz didn't exist until 2005.
my source for linux users being delusional? your post.
I don't really use Linux anymore, it's just not suitable for a desktop computer IMO. Using Linux is backwards intuitive and everything is more complicated than it needs to be. At the Ubuntu level, it works fine and I could say it is closely matched with Windows 7 in terms of usability. Problem is, a whole bunch of software doesn't support it, games don't support it, and just a bunch of stuff is very unpolished(drivers etc). Then it turns into an open source vs closed source and then the I hate Microsoft stuff. I love open source as much as the next person but theres no point in reinventing the wheel and crippling yourself just to learn Linux. For my needs, I just don't need Linux.

I never said you were wrong, I just wanted to see your information. But I see you're too busy rating yourself zing to see this.

I get it and agree. But it's not so hard if you (unlike most Linux users it seems) just grit your teeth, swallow your pride and google for help. Then a procedure that could take you all night gets cut down to 5 minutes.
Another thing i find bothersome but understanding is that most Ubuntu guides are Terminal only. They never show off how to do it in the GUI. I get why, that's damn obvious, but the less technically agile users get a headache because of it.
Why? Isn't copy pasting stuff easier than screenshots or directions around a GUI?
Plus Terminal is much more flexible. It can do things that GUIs can't easily.
Competition drives innovation. Patenting things like UI's blocks innovation.
I don't care who stole what from who, I'm not a fan of Apple but I do want Macs to have a larger market share. This will force people to be more platform-independant, which is good for linux. Linux can just piggyback Apple's efforts to end the Microsoft monopolly.

Doesn't help you remember it later on.
