As you don't plan to overclock, as long as you arn't too bothered about load noise you can use the stock cooler and not have to spend out on a custom cooler.
The stock cooler is plenty capable for Stock Frequency IVB chips.
Get i5 3570. It's still i5 and contrary to 2500 is ivy bridge.
Reason for this is that i think i7 is a bit overkill for gaming. I5 works fine and is cheaper.

and still quite a bit overkill
3570k is way better than 2500k I'm pretty sure it has lower wattage and higher performance. Doesn't get any better than that.

20W less power draw and not even 10% performance increase in most applications. But that doesn't matter, and you'd know that if you read the thread before you posted.
