I research dumpster diving, and it's legal in the US. The UK and a lot of Europe is more strict, however.

Depends on if it still has OS Classic installed. Without Classic, it's worthless to me, so I'll probably sell it. Might even get $10 for it!

I wish I was lucky enough to find an old laptop or desktop at a dump. So far, none.

It has 96mb of RAM and no FireWire port, saying it is first generation. I don't know how to get the rest of the specs because I don't know if anyone happens to have a Mac OS 8.5 version of Speccy. But hey, there it is.

Well I knew it worked perfectly before I got it. It was the school therapist's computer and they decided the other day that it wasn't good enough. So they were going to throw it away but I saved it. They replaced it with the 'best computer in the school.' But in actuality, the 'best' computer in the school is actually the second best after the one they just gave away to me. I don't care what anyone says, iMac G3s are the best computers ever manufactured, period.
