I know what ram does smartass, I meant what would taking the ram out do? how would it help my computer? Next time read my post.
Just try removing one slot of RAM it won't hurt, if the problem persists, place it back in and remove the other stick. It's not going to damage the computer just be sure to remove them while the computer is off.
RAM is the easiest component to replace.
if you have windows sometimes having over 512mb of ram will cause crashes as the Hyper Clock Memory Speed will cause the Boot Speed Bus to bottleneck, which is probably why your AUX temperature is high,
aka your fucked unless you buy ubuntu ($25,000) or take out some ram

One of the ram sticks has probably gone bad. By taking out one, you test which one might be working. If the system doesn't shut off, you'll know the one you removed wasn't working properly.

Burning a Memtest disk and running it overnight would be a more accurate solution. OP, if you have a camera, take a picture of the computer with the side off to give us an idea of what we're dealing with. If the camera has a macro mode, use it and focus on the CPU heatsink.
Might be a little late but my netbooks auxtin is -128
If that was real I would be dead.
What does Aux even sense? If I recall correctly it is normally at 100+ on my speedfan.

Auxilarry temp like in case temp.
OP. Make sure yout GPU isnt overheating (since it isnt on the list you posted)
Dowload FURMARK set it on Stabillity test and log GPU temp then let it go for 10 minutes and post your higherst temp.
One of the only things that can shut down a computer like this would be the CPU if it was ram it would Blue Screen Of Death.

If it was the GPU it would artifact (screen goes all screwy). It's unlikely to just shut down without any warning.

Oh I see. Ambient temperature, right? Yeah now way that mine is functioning correctly, the air coming out of the case is freezing
What you need to do is remagnetize it. get a good strong magnet and rub it all over the hard drive and your problems will be solved!
...Just kidding if you did that I would be guilty :ohdear:
Install a better cooling system or place your CPU in a more ventilated area, make sure there aren't other hot things around it.
Oh and DON'T remagnetize your HDD PLEASE
And this is why I got a fan controller with a temperature display...
If I saw anything like this I wouldn't even begin worrying, the two probes in my case are reading ~25C. Ambient is 21C.
My temp3 on speedfan is -128C
i can cool my soda like a king :smug:
