As i said, i don't really like Logitech mice, i don't like the way they are shaped or the wait. And the dpi thing............................... it would just clutter the mouse for me.
Only one solution. Move your arse to the nearest hardware store and try out every single mouse. Buy the one you like the most, or go to next store if they didn't have a mouse fitting your needs.
I second the WMO. Great mouse, cheap, and no extra fancy things. It's one of the tried and tested among FPS's like QL and 1.6. If you want something a little newer try the Intellimouse 3.0/Xornet/Storm. The Xornet/Storm are getting great praise from other forums as they have no positive acceleration/jittery/prediction and all those other junk. Xornet is the lower priced on while the Storm is the little more expensive one.
It's a game. Do you really think thats going to determine who is better? You should really get some of that thing known as FRESH AIR. Despite your mouse won't be superior if it's only 5600DPI.... (Also sniper's the worst class in battlefield. Played only by people who can't do nothing more than camp behind everyone else for long periods of time doing nothing until some noob runs out into the open)
I thought you were not posting anymore, like 3 times. Sniping is a useful class, because they get high KDR. That means ~40 tickets loss on the enemy side.

Then.. why reply?
Because you're still talking about it.
Then.. why reply?
Because you clearly didn't read it. [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] godammit
Because you're still talking about it.
Okay so you admit to being a hypocrite.
For those people that are flaming each other i had pixel skipping issues with bf3 and i have a g500, the problem was fixed by turning triplebuffering off and turning some console setting on. May not be your mouse that is fucked ^.^
Really? Did you try using High DPI Low sensitivity? I use sensitivity 0.0575 and 5600DPI ingame.
i was using 1300 dpi and low sensitivity
i was using 1300 dpi and low sensitivity
Then why not max out your mouses DPI? I have my macros configured so I can switch to desktop DPI with the press of a button and gaming DPI the same. Formula: Formula: a. current dpi / new dpi = x b. current ingame sensitivity * x = new ingame sensitivity Its alot smoother.
What do you mean by macros? just the dpi increase/decrease button or an actual macro?
Either, you can use default but I have my DPI increase/decrease binded to another button and default increase/decrease plus and minus button for other stuff.
roccat kova+, best thing ever
I can vouch for this, well priced and very comfortable, also works lefthanded :) Doonbugie not everyone likes using high DPI mice :/
Alot of shooters, comparatively with old shooters such as Quake require good aim. Low DPI results in this..
if you play at a high sensitivity like a retard [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] Lower DPI works better in newer games from what I've seen since a lot of the time even the minimum sensitivity is way too fast so you have to use 400 DPI.
I used to have an IE3.0, best mouse I had for gaming in the early 2000s. Now I have a Dell Mouse :v: 400-1600DPI laser and it doesn't skip or lag
ITT: Fucking idiots. DPI =! sensitivity. The only way your going to get pixel skipping on a 800 DPI mouse is if you raise the sensitivity. DPI is the accuracy of the mouse over a higher sensitivity. Now for the love of god, shut up about BF3 and actually reply to the thread properly, if you have your gay battle to sort out, post PMs, don't clog up the forums with shite. Anyway. I don't sugest the Pyra, I have the wired edition, It's not the best. has a top DPI of 1600 which isn't too bad. Personal preference is around 2k. It's not very well made, after about a year of using it, the glue holding the non slip sides on has started to come through the edges which leaves your fingers sticky. I can't really give you any recommendations as the only other mouse I've used was a G5 many years ago.
uh no moron, when you're used to a lower sensitivity you have to raise it as your dpi lowers which causes pixel skipping, not everyone has a gigantic mouse area to use ridiculously low sensitivity
if you play at a high sensitivity like a retard [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] Lower DPI works better in newer games from what I've seen since a lot of the time even the minimum sensitivity is way too fast so you have to use 400 DPI.
So everyone who plays at a higher sensitivity = retard? Mine is 0.005 @ 5700DPI what is yours.
So everyone who plays at a higher sensitivity = retard? Mine is 0.005 @ 5700DPI what is yours.
And mines 0.0000000000000000001 at 6500DPI now can you shut up about your damned DPI thanks.
So everyone who plays at a higher sensitivity = retard? Mine is 0.005 @ 5700DPI what is yours.
yes, and what? not every game uses the same sensitivity settings, I assume you mean source. In source I use I believe around .2 @ 400 dpi. I don't feel like switching my DPI in every game so I just use 400 DPI and even at 400 DPI most games' minimum DPI settings are too fast. [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] actually that doesn't sound right, I'd probably 1.75 @ 400 DPI, I used to use maximum DPI with a tiny sensitivity, too, but games min sensitivity varies too much, like I said.

Clearly alot of people like ultra-low sensitivities, however I prefer a higher sensitivity therefor need a higher DPI to avoid pixel skipping.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo(continue for a few years..)kkkkkk then..... reading through all that was a waste, apart from a few comments that were useful. How did this go from me taking requests for a new mouse from people complaining about sensitivities. Besides the fact you were complaining about 800 DPI and the one that i suggested is 1600 DPI. Yes, i play on max sensitivity, on Xbox, now I'm on PC, i doubt i will need that. As i said before, i have tried a cheap ass Logitech mouse, and another one that was made for gaming if i remember correctly, I'll find out, but didn't like the shape of either of them, the gaming one was far to large and heavy. I like Logitech as a company, but their mice(or mouses? feel free to correct me) are not for me. edit: To put this argument to the ground I game, perfectly fine with this mouse. http://www.ebuyer.com/125759-black-optical-scroll-mouse-usb-mouseblk But its broken and i have to click really hard.

Mkay lets put this matter to rest. http://www.aim400kg.ru/en/ Post your score for Exact Aim: 75300 Fast Aim: 48400 Go ahead with that 5600 dpi or whatever mouse you have.

I'm not a SteelSeries fan or anything, but, I have review tested all their mice, and can safely say, they are all very good. The Sensei is over your price range unfortunately, but, if you can find a good quality Xai somewhere go for that. Or the Kana/Kinzuv2Pro depending on if you need extra buttons. [editline]19th January 2012[/editline] Or if you can find a Logitech G9X, because those are also excellent mice.
Well drop your point. Anyway the Microsoft Sidewinder X8 is the right shape ish.
