I actually use an utterly outdated mouse, A4Tech X7. Awesome for shooters. I've tested Razer Naga (mmo wise) and I just can't get used to it for shooters. Also, make sure you get a mechanical keyboard, not rubber-under-the-button keyboards. I've punched and destroyed a few of those, due to frustration :)
What if OP wanted a high sensitivity you dumby. Not everyone uses hyperlow sensitivities because they prefer to be able to move around on the screen without hauling ass with their mouse.
Yes, moving a cursor halfway across a 1080p screen with an inch of mouse movement is definitely considered "hauling ass"
Then he would've specified, which he didn't. It's still your problem, you should've got a better quality 800DPI mouse.
Then he would have specified if he wanted a ultra low sensitivity. All of your arguments are invalid. I will not be using extreme high sensitivity. I play with a 3 pound mouse just fine, the DPI doesnt matter. I play at full sensitivity on a controller, a mouse is much more sensitive than that so drop your point.

Anyway have we even found you a good mouse yet 404?
Im sure my question isn't going to derail this thread further... I have a MX518 so it has on the fly dpi switching. For me, changing the dpi is basically just changing the cursor speed. 1600dpi moves the cursor all the way across my screen with only a tiny movement of the mouse. i must use the lowest dpi (500 i think) to have any hope of accuracy in fps type games (especially sniping) (lots of mouse movement to equal tiny movements on screen.). is this right or is my setup somehow fucked? Dpi and sensitivity discussions always leave me confused as to exactly what you should expect to see.
See? The OP doesn't even need a high DPI. Problem? Anyway have we even found you a good mouse yet 404?
No need to dick wave because you have the same shitty preference as OP.
Just shut the fuck up already. OP go to your local electronics store, find which mouse feels the best and get it.
No need to dick wave because you have the same shitty preference as OP.
Maybe it's shitty to you. Maybe it's just that we don't like spending £100 on a high range mouse which performs just as good as a standard mouse.
That would be the smart thing to do but i live in the middle of nowhere.
Maybe it's shitty to you. Maybe it's just that we don't like spending £100 on a high range mouse which performs just as good as a standard mouse.
G500 - $59.99 and it performs tons better then Intellishits.
It all depends on your hand size, preferred grip, weight - many factors. I myself prefer claw-gripping when I play (having my palm on the mousepad, not mouse and I play with a R.A.T. 5, because you can adjust the mouse to be small, which is perfect for claw grip.
G500 - $59.99 and it performs tons better then Intellishits.
It's still not in the price range of the OP's Budget. And:
Im not really a fan of logitech's mice
Also:
I would prefer wireless but it isnt a must.
Maybe at least try to meet the OP's requirements next time.
It's still not in the price range of the OP's Budget. And: Also: Maybe at least try to meet the OP's requirements next time.
Yeah... you're dumb.
Hypocrisy at it's finest.
why do you seem to start a argument in every thread?
Because other people disagree with what I say, what does that have to do with sensitivity preference?
Do you have some kind of problem doon just, because someone doesn't like YOUR preferences doesn't mean you have to try to keep shoving it down their throats to get them to use it.
Because other people disagree with what I say, what does that have to do with sensitivity preference?
No, because you state your opinions as fact.
No, because you state your opinions as fact.
They are fact, "I prefer higher sensitivity".
Stop shoving your preference down my throat.
Do i sense more hippocratic statements? I think so! People are entitled to their opinions without some idiot flaming them. Y'know.
Do i sense more hippocratic statements? I think so! People are entitled to their opinions without some idiot flaming them. Y'know.
Nobody here knows how to spell hypocrite?
...Hypocrisy is related to the word hypocrite, and Hypocratic would be hypocritical :eng101:
