can't you hook up your camera via usb? that's usually what most cameras do. My JVC camera has a SD for pictures, but i still get my pics via usb.
Ask your dad if he can give me a model

One for my mom, one in our kichen, and one for me. Also good 1080p LCDs come as low as $160 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824116446 [editline]06:49PM[/editline] And if I were a crafty man I would have taken all 3 by now and set up in eyefinity [editline]07:48PM[/editline] Amazon is the shit, they STILL haven't shipped my HDD What the fuck
what
I didn't post in it... Atleast from what I remember.

Am jealous of case.
Am jealous of case.
Certainly not the best case ever but it is quite nice What case do you have?
All the parts should arrive today, except for the HDD which should come tomorrow. [editline]09:49AM[/editline] Also is it OK if I wear elastic gloves? Sounds kinda silly but I'd feel safer when handling the processor.
So long as you're grounded you're fine [editline]02:58PM[/editline] Oh and don't touch the bottom
So long as you're grounded you're fine [editline]02:58PM[/editline] Oh and don't touch the bottom
Heck no [editline]02:39PM[/editline] Parts arrived :D I found out the gloves are latex, will it make a difference?
you're dumb you don't need to wear anything, touch the case and then you're grounded
Oh ok Well I'll just wait for my Droid to charge, then I'll take a pic. [editline]02:54PM[/editline] Going to start building, wish me luck! [editline]03:16PM[/editline] Need some help here! AMD's heatsink has this really weird locking mechanism, and for some reason when one side is locked the other side won't get in. Does it require some force or am I doing it wrong?
I don't know why you made this build log. I know I sound like a dick, but your build is average, and the picture quality is terrible.
I don't know why you made this build log. I know I sound like a dick, but your build is average, and the picture quality is terrible.
Hey it's my first build and I'm only 14. This is more of a help thread anyway. So any help on the AMD cooler?
Hey it's my first build and I'm only 14. This is more of a help thread anyway. So any help on the AMD cooler?
Uh, the AMD cooler is extremely easy to mount, look in the manual if you don't get it.
I looked in the mobo manual and the processor manual and both said insert one side in and then insert the other side. But it's not fitting! D: [editline]03:50PM[/editline] I can take a bigger picture if you want, and I'm pretty sure I inserted it right as the power for the fan is on the same side as where the cable comes out.
Hey it's my first build and I'm only 14. This is more of a help thread anyway. So any help on the AMD cooler?
Okay, I just built my first system in November when I was 14 (almost 15). I guess it's fine if it's for help, but usually I watch build logs to see somebody who really knows what they're doing build a really nice system.
It should fit, if you can force it on you should be fine.
Kay nvm it did take a bit of force to get in
Kay nvm it did take a bit of force to get in
Thats normal, its to make sure the cooler is seated properly.
Shit I'm such an idiot, I didn't install the I/O shield before I screwed the mobo in :sigh: Rate me box
Shit I'm such an idiot, I didn't install the I/O shield before I screwed the mobo in :sigh: Rate me box
Beginners mistake, happened to me a few times before, even though i work at a PC repair center.
And I installed the wrong screw and somehow got it stuck into a standoff, I don't know how the fuck that happened Now my mobo is wedged in between them :(
Oh wow, and you seem to lack some common sense
Phew I got it out, thought I was fucked for sure [editline]05:30PM[/editline] And how do I get the I/O panel to stay put, it doesn't want to
The I/O shield on newer asus motherboards requires a bit of force to secure. You should hear a bit of a click when its pressed onto the case sufficiently.
Ok I have it all built now but whenever I turn it on a Red LED flashes and the mobo speaker beeps 3 times, and I think the label for the light was "DRAM" Does this mean I have bad RAM? :( [editline]07:39PM[/editline] Forgot to mention, I have both sticks of RAM in the mobo [editline]07:39PM[/editline] And a green LED turns on on the mobo, but that happens whenever I switch the PSU on [editline]07:44PM[/editline] Yep, can confirm the light says "DRAM LED"
This is a build log without any pictures of the build. :frog: Check this thread for boot issues. http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=985183 You basically want to take out all but one of your sticks of RAM, then try that one stick in every slot until you get it to boot.
