They are all in the OP.
Ugh, I'm so stupid, had em in the wrong slot. Pics in a sec guys [editline]08:24PM[/editline] Prepare to "OOH" and "AAH" at.... ...shabby cable management! I would have made it neater but all of the cords were too short to route through the cable management holes. Now all I have to do is wait for my HDD to come tomorrow and I can install Windows! Also, do I have to set ram timings?
lol I'd like to see you try to install the stock Intel pushpin heatsink

Sorry if I am hijacking but, if I am going to do some cable management, should I buy extensions?
Sorry if I am hijacking but, if I am going to do some cable management, should I buy extensions?
I got the NZXT 24 pin and 8 pin mobo when I bought my case. Came braided and really helped.

Protip: Don't take pictures during earthquakes. Also brofist me my storm scout brother!
what
I think he is talking about extensions. But anyways, Odellus I think you'd be best answering my question as you have a CM 690. Which I have the NVidia version. [editline]11:33PM[/editline] There's really no difference. Its like the basic with green shit.
depends on your power supply, I didn't have any problems with my Cooler Master GX 750W.
what
These. I was worried my 8pin CPU power would be just short, and it was. I ordered the 24pin just because It was braided black and would look better than multi-colored wires.
depends on your power supply, I didn't have any problems with my Cooler Master GX 750W.
I'm getting an HX 750 by Corsair.
I'm getting an HX 750 by Corsair.
it should be fine, I would go ahead and compare cable length between our PSUs if you're that worried
It's not too much of a problem, but I'm a stickler for neatness.
-snip-
I'm getting an HX 750 by Corsair.
The 8 pin cable on the 750HX ran a bit short for me because I didn't have a hole on the top of my motherboard tray to route it through. The picture quality is terrible, but this is what I have to resort to doing until I can manage to get an extension.
What case is that?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112226
Alright, then I'll probably need extensions as my case is a few inches larger.
Hey guys, posting from the new computer! :3 I can only get the res up a tiny bit and the total memory it says I have is only 16MB, do I have to install drivers or?
Hey guys, posting from the new computer! :3 I can only get the res up a tiny bit and the total memory it says I have is only 16MB, do I have to install drivers or?
Yes you do. Make sure to do it from the website rather than from the disks that came with your hardware.
Downloaded speccy, my CPU is running at 37C and my HDD at 33C, but for some reason it says my SATA HDD is IDE. Do I need to switch settings or is it an error in speccy?
I'd muck around in the bios personally, and make sure you're not mistaking your CD/DVD drive for your HDD, they can be namedoddly at times. This is very relevant to my interests, as I have almost exactly the same build, but with a couple of differences: Changelogginess You / Me Phenom 955 / Phenom 965 ASUS M4A87TD / ASUS M4N98TD ATI 5570 / Nvidia GTX 260 Different HDD, but hey. Other than that, the big three components, motherboard, RAM and CPU are almost the same. (RAM is the same, exactly). However. Mine does not work. It suffers from constant soft reboots and errors, it's impossible to install not just windows but anything else to my hard drive, and yet the windows beta (7100) works just fine, albeit with errors and BSODs. I've tried all the diagnostics I can, but only Memtest turns up errors. Thousands of the fuckers. I'm hoping when corsair get my RAM back to me it'll all work. If it doesn't, my Mobo is broken or my CPU is broken, and I don't relish the thought of replacing either. Also, installing an aftermarket cooler on that CPU voids the warranty, just to warn you.
