Building my first gaming PC, could use quite a bit of advice. ($600-$650)

So I should get the motherboard you just linked instead of the original one?
And it'll be ready to go when I get the package huh, just plug it in and go? That's pretty helpful.
Absolutely, when you get it, everything will be installed and ready to go.
Regarding the motherboard, I'm actually kind of "on the fence" as well.
On one hand, the B85 is cheaper, but it uses older technology, and the NCIX technicians will most likely have to update the BIOS in order to get the processor running on it.
On the other hand, the H97M costs 25 dollars more, but is modern, and fully supports the 4440 out of the box.
25 dollars isn't a whole lot. I'd say go for the more expensive one, to ensure stability and compatability
So, the original one you posted then, in the original list? $25 is worth it, I'd go for the more expensive one too.

The 4440 is not a refresh processor. The 4460 is the lowest tier refresh i5.
I.. have no idea what that means, as long as it works in the build I'm OK with it. :v:

Ohhh, yeah, you can go with the cheaper motherboard then, you gain absolutely nothing from going with the more expensive one
The cheaper one it is then. lol
I'm still aiming to purchase it tonight, so if anyone has any last minute suggests or some such, let me know.
Ordered the parts! Godspeed.
