trying to get a new CPU cooler in, every fucking time one the fucking pins breaks!!! and why does the heat sink on these fucking things have to be so motherfucking sharp
I think you're doing it wrong if those pins break. I spent about 5 minutes getting my stock intel cooler on, though I didn't break the pins.
Having lots of cable clutter inside your case. I spent the whole weekend just working on cable management because it bugs me so much.
I would agree with you if I had a window in my computer and if I upgraded my computer regularly, though what's the point if they're hidden most of the time. I personally manage the cables that other people could see, on the outside of the case :)
What makes me fucking rage to the point where I wanna pull my own fucking skin off is when I'm loading and one of my retarded friends sends me ~30 fucking messages on Steam. All you hear is BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP and you just wanna punch him in the face and yell "SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!"
You can turn off chat sounds in the Settings. It's on the Friends tab.
I have short term memory loss, i'd forget that it's not working, delete the sound file than get frustrated about it for 2 weeks, goto change my name and fix it. So no.
When a batch file errors, and the window closes immediately so you can't read the message. Also, ACCESS IS DENIED, FILE IN USE.
POST error codes. OH LOOK MEMORY ISSUES, BUT I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU WHICH DIMM IS FUCKING UP.
Who the fuck had the bright idea to elimiate support for more than one floppy drive in the BIOS? It's not like it was taking up space in ROM. Now I have to setup a second system just to dump floppy disk images.
This is probably my fault, but the hard drive randomly starts searching in the middle of a porn party. My HDD is noisy, it sounds the same as my old one, which I thought was broken. Oh, and false positives that I know are false positives. They lock whatever I was working on.
what?!
clicking the X on windows preview with firefox in the back. It's like it double clicks or some shit and tries to close firefox
Things that steal my focus, modal dialogs, stuff like that. I swear I'll usurp the governments of the world and make focus stealing a capital offense. >:( There is no reason I can imagine a program would reasonably have to steal my focus. For all I care even BSOD's can gtfo and wait their turn on the taskbar. :P
IDE cables, jumps, shitty raid controllers, gettig tickets for PC IS SLOW WHY?!?! going to find out they have 17 firefoxes open then showing them the tab option for the 5th time that week, explaining why free can mean virus, explaining a difference between a virus and other malware, explaining why Kawaii screensaver on your flash drive is a virus, MS exchange server, people unplugging the printer to "fix it", APC in general fuck you I just bought a battery back up, perl, some one changing the su password, people forgetting their password, people trying to print a document and selecting the default MS printer other than the one that says USE this one, CLI, ps2 keyboards and mice, dust, etc
Windows 7 applying automatic compatibility settings that can only be removed by editing the registry. Inexplicably grayed-out settings / menu choices. Getting a new case in the mail only to find the whole front panel has broken off and I have to pay for return shipping. Encountering new bugs after a program update.
1. right click on icon companitbility mode
Doesn't work for automatically applied compatibility settings, the compatibility tab doesn't show them.
iTunes on windows. It would be nice if apple made a windows native version of iTunes so it didn't freeze and lag on my i5 750.
iTunes on windows. It would be nice if apple made a windows native version of iTunes so it didn't freeze and lag on my i5 750.
iTunes runs fine on my Q9550... But it does take a little while to load up initially, then another few seconds before you can actually play a song.
"This is not the optimal screen resolution for this program."
and to all the people complaining about CMD programs/batch files that close immediately, add pause to the end of the batch file, or create a batch file with the program then pause on the next line [editline]meh[/editline] BROKE MAH AUTOMERGE :bang: caps
IO plates. They are made out of this cheap ass aluminum and I swear they fucking sharpen the edges of those things :argh:
This missing POST beep. Friend's PC doesn't get the POST beep and therefore doesn't boot. He's had the motherboard replaced, PSU checked and bought a new i5. Shame it was the fact he forgot the 8pin CPU Power Socket mistaking it for PCI-E Power.
Firefox not letting me see the dumb ratings i am randomly handing out [editline]08:19AM[/editline] holy shit it's not in chrome either maybe I've been banned from the ratings :saddowns: or it's just broken... probably just broken.. or i need to clear my cache or something :crying:

omg get on steam
Cases that don't have holes for metal standoffs or a decent amount of integrated standoffs. Nothing worse than going to push in a stick of RAM and having the motherboard bend like a diving board. And god damn cat piss. I swear to god if I find out which cat pissed both inside my sister's computer and on my LCD (causing me to wash the entire monitor out so as to not get any corrosion inside; it's still drying out, 3 weeks later) I will be dropping it off with the SPCA.
omg get on steam
I am on Steam, I have been for a while...
I can never, ever ever install a i/o backplate :saddowns:
When playing an older game, and my computer decides it isn't going fast enough, boosts the game to x300 speed for a couple of seconds instant killing me.
same thing is happening to me
gay ray changed it so that ratings only start showing up when theres 2 or more of same rating i think
