the question "are you?" is hard to answer because lately I haven't turned it on at all. but in the past, yeah that is a possibility...

Either short the two reset pins or pop out the CMOS battery for a minute.
well thank you that Battery idea sounds like a winner, I will look up how to do that and get back to yous.
I think I found the battery. so I just take it out for a minute and then put it back in? or is it like a split second swap?
Take it out put it back in after about 10 seconds so everything clears.
No silly take it out and unplug the thing then press the power button to clear.
