Doesn't make a difference. [editline]04:07AM[/editline] I don't think..
So I need a 24" Monitor to go with my two 19" in portrait mode?
Lol at automerge fail. Anyway, if your card supports Eyevision, games will be able to spread across all three monitors.
Eyefinity.
where can you get a 1080p 32"?
where can you get a 1080p 32"?
what? Anywhere. Almost all of them support 1080p.
Well either way I am going three monitors now Now do I have to have a 24" monitor to use two 19" in portrait mode?
Well either way I am going three monitors now Now do I have to have a 24" monitor to use two 19" in portrait mode?
If you want the resolutions to be somewhat smooth from screen to screen, yes.
Can I run a Game on all three monitors? and whats a good active DisplayPort to DVI?
When I was doing my research people was using the vga adapter on 1680x1050/1920 x 1080 with no issues, and yes you can run almost any game (apart from goldsrc/just cause1/some other older games) across three screens as it sees it as one big screen. Also with the 24" having 1080 heigh, and your 19" in portrait are going to have the vertical resolution of 1440, surely thats gonna cause it to stretch the center screen to match the outside ones? Also with the two as portrait mode on the side you dont add much else onto the game as they are rather thin. I would think if you are aiming to get the proper eyefinity setup (e.g.: http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u101/JOVH/SDC10708.jpg?t=1279701194 ) Then go for the 3x 19".
Lol at automerge fail. Anyway, if your card supports Eyevision, games will be able to spread across all three monitors.
I think you mean Eyefinity
Eyefinity.

I think you mean Eyefinity
FUCCCCK. This is why I don't talk about computers so late. :saddowns:
I found dual monitors to be immensely more productive than one 32", so three will be even better. GO FOR IT.
Now my question is can I use DVI on two of the monitors while I use VGA off the Display port?
I think so. What'd you do else?
I think so. What'd you do else?
Use an Active DisplayPort to DVI Adapter Which is about $110 + Shipping
Yeah, but I mean with a passive one, what'd you do else?
Now my question is can I use DVI on two of the monitors while I use VGA off the Display port?
You use DVI + DVI + DP -> VGA
What connection port would best be used on this monitor? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236049

I would like too but if I can't without an acitve DisplayPort to DVI adapter I guess I won't because going this way is about $50 - 100 more than planned but I like the setup Where's AJax when you need him he would know lots about this
I would like too but if I can't without an acitve DisplayPort to DVI adapter I guess I won't because going this way is about $50 - 100 more than planned but I like the setup Where's AJax when you need him he would know lots about this
Why cant you use the vga adapter? And Ajacks uses a GTx 280 SLi + 8600gts setup, not eyefinity
AJax
Ajacks* :eng101:
Why cant you use the vga adapter? And Ajacks uses a GTx 280 SLi + 8600gts setup, not eyefinity
Yep, I'm all business here, no triple monitor pleasure (not that I think you can even fanangle a triple screen gaming session running the variety of LCD's that I have.) Also, I don't use the 8600GTS anymore since I took down those pointless, yet awesome looking 19" LCD's.
Ajacks what setup do you have now? and what size monitor did you use with your 19" monitors
He had 2 19" monitors next to his main 20+30+20 setup, OP why cant you use the DP adapter? I dont stalk you Ajacks I Promise :v:
I can I am just worried about the difference between the VGA and DVI Connections having a slight difference
[img_thumb]http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a345/ajackss/2a-1.png?t=1279724813[/img_thumb] What do you mean about what size did I use with my 19" monitors? I lent my 19" LCD's to my friend to help him create a post worthy desk setup, also gave him the lamp and the speakers and helped him organize his desk. It turned out very nice I think.
I can I am just worried about the difference between the VGA and DVI Connections having a slight difference
Just use the DP-> VGA on one of the 19" monitors, the difference isnt that noticeable, at least when I compared my 20" to my old 28" I couldnt see that much of a difference.
Nevermind but what size screens did you use in that first picture? [editline]10:15AM[/editline] And I would probably just use the VGA on the left 19" Monitor as it wouldn't be as used as the other ones
Nevermind but what size screens did you use in that first picture? [editline]10:15AM[/editline] And I would probably just use the VGA on the left 19" Monitor as it wouldn't be as used as the other ones
As Pringles said, 20, 30, 20, 20. Also, Doritos_Man Sgt Pringles
:v: as I said before please take this into consideration if you are going to attempt at playing across all three 19-24-19:
Also with the 24" having 1080 height, and your 19" in portrait are going to have the vertical resolution of 1440, surely thats gonna cause it to stretch the center screen to match the outside ones? So it would look jacked up if I got the three in portrait landscape portrait. So if I do some gaming and some work should I go with the three 19" in eyefinity or the 19-24-19
