The only difference between a normal 7950 and the Mac 7950 is the switchable BIOS so you don't have to flash a generic 7950 to work in OSX.
Aren't they doing a 7950 "mac edition"?
[barfs interally]
It actually looks pretty decent in person.
When I accidentally open vim, this is me trying to get out: It's not in the least bit intuitive...
It actually looks pretty decent in person.
Does it still look like translucent semen while in person? [editline]23rd April 2013[/editline]
When I accidentally open vim, this is me trying to get out: It's not in the least bit intuitive...
:q! First thing I ever learned with vim.
Nope. It looks like the same plastic they use to make the 13" MacBooks out of.
I only know vim enough to create a basic message for a git commit. Go to end of message, insert, new line, type message, escape, :wq, done. I really need to get used to git, it's too damn awesome to not use.
Just spent $800 on a monitor. A bit belatedly, I realized a single 6870 probably won't run games too well at 1440p. Further upgrades may be in order.
Pfft that's nothing.
Pfft that's nothing.
You're late.
This sheridanm guy is really fucking annoying in PC Building and I don't think he knows at all what the zing rating means.
link?
http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1263127 most recent, but he's been here for months. He'll rate anyone with an intel build dumb or who doesn't recommend what he likes and honestly doesn't know all too much about hardware in general, only a fairly limited amount of what he personally has used. [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline] http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1253047 rated uberslug's op dumb for wanting to get a 3570k, just ridiculous and he won't leeeeaaaaave [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline] woooah you sure showed him! fuckin zinger man high fives all around, i still can't believe you said you're going to upgrade your gpu AFTER your cpu LOL
At least its usable without a pile of plugins and two years worth of counterintuitive muscle memory.

[barfs interally]
[vomit intensifies]
Fixed my avatar, how's it look?
caring about ratings
[barfs interally]
That would look nice in my Bitfenix Prodigy...
caring about ratings
If that's towards me, I don't necessarily care about the ratings so much as I care about him contributing nothing towards 90% of threads and just shits out bad advice. If it wasn't a subforum where people are spending hundreds of dollars on stuff then I wouldn't mind, but I want them to get what's best for their needs and people like sheridanm make that very difficult. But really, he hasn't got a clue what the zing is for :|
That would look nice in my Bitfenix Prodigy...
Hackintosh.
I can't imagine doing a multifile project in Vim. Tabbed IDEs are a godsend.
But... vim has tabs? And gvim even has them rendered like native UI tabs? The reason vim is great to use is that you generally don't need any chording and never need a mouse. [editline]23rd April 2013[/editline] But if you really like your mouse it works fine with gvim. It even has a select-insert mode which is kind of insane. [editline]23rd April 2013[/editline] I'm not really sure what happens when you start typing in select-insert mode [editline]23rd April 2013[/editline] but I know that it allows you to select with the mouse while in insert mode [editline]23rd April 2013[/editline] Okay apparently (insert) VISUAL is just visual mode that returns to insert. Lame.
Hackintosh.
Last I checked, my motherboard and GTX 560 are compatible. I'm thinking about it...
[barfs interally]
If that thing also has a white PCB, then it would look amazing
So I'm just doing my advanced programming homework. Bin sort, whatever. Yeah, this is my container: [cpp] std::list <std::pair<int, std::list<std::pair<std::string, std::string> > > > [/cpp] Because we have to use lists, the insertion is about as unreadable as you'd expect: [cpp] sortIt = sort_data.begin(); std::advance(sortIt, std::atoi(tempSplit.back().c_str() ) ); splitIt = tempSplit.begin(); (*sortIt).second.emplace_front( std::make_pair( *splitIt, *(splitIt++) ) ); [/cpp] computer science wow look at the numbers!! here's a fun fact: I'm never going to have to do any of this in the real world. Alas, c'est la vie. I figured nobody in the programming WAYWO really gives a shit but then again I dunno how relevant any of this is to you guys :v:
that reminds me funny visual studio bug so i'm trying to track down this issue with my assignment. if i show all the grades less than what user inputs, then the ones that are greater than a different user choice are off by one. if i fix it so that the greater than works properly, then less than is off by one. its two separate for (int i = 0), but for giggles i try changing one's loop var to aa, and the other to bb. it worked

I think it's time for me to go to sleep, me and wing were discussion Windows and NT versioning and I somehow spat this out:
1:13 AM - Techmaster: then microsoft needs to get off the number names 1:14 AM - Techmaster: or 1:14 AM - Techmaster: when they get ready for the next major version 1:14 AM - Techmaster: resynchronize 1:14 AM - Techmaster: be like 1:15 AM - Techmaster: Oh it's time for Windows 10? 1:15 AM - Techmaster: Say hello to NTen 1:15 AM - Techmaster: oh god i feel awful now 1:15 AM - Wingar: LOL 1:15 AM - Techmaster: WHAT HAVE I DONE
Fuck yes! So my new old switch that I got for cheap as fuck on eBay arrived, today. [t]http://i.imgur.com/jys4FRH.jpg[/t] Cisco Catalyst 3548 XL. Nothing special or fancy but I'm so happy because it finally gives me something to do my CCNA on, on my own terms and it's a nice switch.
