Slept for 3 hours. I didn't even notice, because it is raining outside and has been really dark and bland the whole day and I thought that it was only an hour or two at most. fucking sleep.

Man I was just looking at the ASUS equivalent of my GIGABYTE board. SOOOOO nice, I wish I would have decided NOT to try gigabyte and just stuck with ASUS. Not to mention all the nice software ASUS provides.
Just finished the last assignment in my Java class: feelsgoodman.jpg
I have never pinned a program to the taskbar.
I unpin everything but chrome and explorer.

y'know what fuck it Not going for the 9 cell battery JUST yet, neither the WLAN dongle. Time to find an X220 bitches
for those wanting maximum space http://sweetpepperspray.blogspot.ch/2012/04/getting-free-referrals-to-increase.html
the 9 cell I got for my X61 lasted the 3 hours for class with a quarter charge left. It could easily last 4 hours, although thats with low brightness and shit
I have Explorer, Chrome, PuTTY, Mumble and Pidgin pinned. I often invoke Explorer with Win+E, but I still often have to navigate to a certain window with it after leaving the damn things open for a long time so they're at the bottom of my alt-tab stack, and then I can just either mouse over or use Win-1 to navigate to a specific window (because it's the first pinned item). Chrome, duh, not hard to guess. PuTTY is there for fast access, and most importantly, the right-click functionality. I can just right-click and it will list all the saved profiles, so I can just press on one and it'll open up PuTTY straight to that machine. Mumble, I need voice comms if I'm playing EVE or WoW, fast access is nice, and I use Pidgin a lot for EVE. Skype is just always on, and isn't specifically pinned, so it just hangs around at the bottom of that stack.
Hey I know a fun thing to do on a tuesday evening, let's do a CCNA self assessment with absolutely no training with cisco gear or routing whatsoever, this'll be interesting 10 MINUTES LATER I'm sure I have a cerebral edema now

So one of the drives in my RAID just went null, not offline or anyhting, just null. Replaced it and am now in the process of resilvering, which is taking years but whatever. Now I have this nice perfectly fine paperweight and no idea what to do with it since I've ripped open so many of them already.

Asus touchpad drivers were acting up, gestures were really slow to react and a proces related to the drivers was using 100% of one thread. Uninstalled it and installed the newest version and now the scrolling is inverted, like on Macs and the MS Surface touchpad. I like it like this, actually.
Well that's odd. I was checking my bank balance to see if my tax refund had come in, and it looks like the pending charge from Dell (for the monitor) got canceled. Maybe my bank thought it was fraud, and canceled it? I suppose it is out of the ordinary for me to spend that much money, but I also would expect a thief wouldn't have the product shipped to my address. And Dell's already shipped it - should be here Friday. That might be awkward.
