http://htmlandcssbook.com/ Apparently this book is absolutely awesome, I'll have to grab it soon.
Oh shit. That's a fuckload cheaper than I expected
It only costs a tenner in the UK, beautiful pixels.com recommends it.
It looks excellent. I wanna pick it up.
I find it kinda interesting how the whole CISPA thing hasn't really been talked about on FP. I check popular every day or so and I haven't seen a single thread about it :v: Is that because people don't care, or because a lot of users are british, or has Reddit and co. just made a huge deal about something insignificant?
Ordered one, that dispatch time though.
I don't think the dispatch time is too bad, but maybe that's because I often get things from China and have become used to waiting at least a month for it to arrive. Got my hub yesterday, I had ordered it on the 14th of March.

They get a tiny bit of information on something and then speculate like they know everything there is to know about it while raking in the agrees from other people who think they're the authority on the subject.

If anyone's good at making shady looking websites, it's Asus http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/ai_charger/
If anyone's good at making shady looking websites, it's Asus http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/ai_charger/
Oh nice a Sonic-ripoff.
Oh nice a Sonic-ripoff.
gotta charge fast [editline]26th April 2013[/editline] Jesus those graphics are so bad, you could think this was made in 2005
Their software looks equally shady, the Xonar control panel is hideous.
Sometimes when I use utilities like Asus software I wonder to myself "somebody actually paid someone to make this design?" No wonder normal graphics designers aren't taken seriously.
If anyone's good at making shady looking websites, it's Asus http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/ai_charger/
I wonder if the designer got fired after he made this.
I don't know what you're talking about, it's beautiful.
Aliased orb in the top left, gross rounded corners all around, shitty 3D glossy buttons, black text on dark blue blackground...
Well my OS X partition officially runs faster and is more stable than my Windows 8 partition. And nothing has changed other than updating programs under Windows 8.
I kinda want to try installing OS X on my desktop again because I can, but I don't have a Mac available to make an installation stick :saddowns:
I've seen worse tbh
Oh undoubtedly, but it's still sad that someone somewhere went "yep that looks good, ship it"
Aliased orb in the top left, gross rounded corners all around, shitty 3D glossy buttons, black text on dark blue blackground...
I was being sarcastic. It's fucking terrible. The actual soundcard on the other hand is actually pretty good.
I kinda want to try installing OS X on my desktop again because I can, but I don't have a Mac available to make an installation stick :saddowns:
You could always set your anchor in a place where you can get an ISO.
My friend seriously thought the Realtek website was some random sketchy website. I guess to be fair, its not on the bleeding edge of web design.
Why are there rocks on the table
That's salty licorice.
This looks really fucking handy as a reference guide but for £25 I think I'll stick to serverfault / google
The advantage is that i can take the book into my exam to look up things [editline]26th April 2013[/editline]
Why are there rocks on the table
Very salty licorice. Available in bags the size of binbags on most Scandinavian boat lines
I kinda want to try installing OS X on my desktop again because I can, but I don't have a Mac available to make an installation stick :saddowns:
I do have a mac and I considered doing it on a second harddrive I have. I just don't know how I rip off the OS I already installed? (Like, where are the fails) [editline]26th April 2013[/editline] Also, I finally managed to get a new Win7 key for my friend... Stupid licenses hard to read and scratch & such. Even though I had to repeat the installation ID 3 times I finally got through and even though it took time I'm still happy that MS resolved it.
