Strange, mine just smells... rubbery, like a wetsuit.
and that smell dissapears btw
bout to spray some old spice on that bitch
Strange, mine just smells... rubbery, like a wetsuit.
And you would only notice the smell if you were rubbing it around your face.
's because it's high quality (by hong kong standards) neoprene
just in case you were wondering, dead animal and old spice stenches do not mix very well
it's slightly better, i'll try using it for a few days but i might have to throw it away if it stays like this
also i can smell it while sitting in my chair with my face about 2 feet from the mousepad, it's that fucking strong

Yeah I agree with you on that one, all the phones look like eachother nowadays

in all seriousness I've heard terrible things about cruises, but then again it's only for a week and I think the shit I've heard was about month-long slogs where by the end you want to kill everyone onboard

just snipe in the last few seconds, that's what I do and it seems to work more than bidding throughout the auction which does nothing but ratchet up the price

cell phone camera isn't very good but yeah
I'm really considering it, as soon as it gets decent CyanogenMod support I'll probably buy one.
The hardware is damn gorgeous.
Hardware wise it's a league above any other device except the iphone, it's so good
I think samsung are just lazy horrible designers, HTC and Nokia have show you can make great looking and feeling plastic phones. That and their interfaces don't look like mid-2000s gaudy turds like touchwiz

How did that happen? I never damage any of my hardware unless it's cheap and not working (I never understood people who took their frustrations out on inanimate objects)
I believe it's meant to look kind of like wood?
i'd buy the fuck out of a phone made out of actual wood tbh
means I could squat down in the corner in social situations rubbing something between my legs and when someone comes up to chuck me out I'd be like
why
just varnishing my phone

Holy shit it's gorgeous, why is this not a whole subcategory of smartphones?
Introducing the new iGotWood
I think HTC went wrong with the "Ultrapixels" stuff, though - sure, low-light performance is nice, but limiting yourself to 4MP in daylight conditions is stupid - no matter the amount of light they pull in, detail is going to suffer. Oversampling a'la the Nokia 808 + the OIS from the 920 would be the perfect combination in my opinion. You'd get a amazing daylight performance, and pretty nice low-light performance instead of okay daylight performance and amazing low-light performance.
I've been building the end-video screen for annotations: http://puu.sh/2HIAj.jpg
Not sure how I like it. The black spots are alpha cut outs so I can place video behind it in vegas.
Considering the majority of phone pics are just uploaded to the web and stuff, a phone doesn't need a huge resolution camera.
You guys should just be glad that you don't have my iPhone 4.

WTF? TVDB thought House M.D. was some weird show called "The Glass House" wtf?
It didn't do this the first time.

XBMC scrapers get like everything wrong for me, even when the shows are properly titled
I just resort to using directories, though it's not as pretty

Yeah, I know most people would be fine with FB sized pictures, but most people are okay with 96-128kbit rips as well - that's not really a fair comparison, as the HTC One actually does take very nice low-light pictures and video, but in daylight it suffers compared to other cameras.
An 808 + OIS would pretty much the perfect compromise; its low-light pictures wouldn't be as good maybe, but they would still be absolutely great, and the pictures in daylight would be amazing. Count in the (not entirely, but close to) "lossless" digital zoom, and I don't know why anyone would argue that a similar-sized lower-resolution camera sensor would be a better solution.

This was the first time it messed up. But anyways I'm using Plex.
I could just subscribe to some other medium if I wanted to
How is plex, compared to XBMC? (Linux, if it matters)
What advantages does it bring?

Plex is a media server -> client thing. Means I host it all on my server, then I can view it when I'm out or on my tablet or laptop or desktop or wutever I want it on. Heck even my phone (if I had room for it -.- stupid HTC Desire).. I do still use a Plex Remote (The Plex app comes with it, but remember no space for it on my silly phone.. facebook it's it all)
You can however host it on the same computer as you view it on - not that it's a problem.
Not sure if this is also on XBMC or not. But it checks for what episodes you watch and mark them. If you were in the middle of watching something in the middle of the night and have to go to bed or just need to watch something on another device. Feel free to do so. If you left it in the middle of something it shows where you came from and asks if you want to watch from beginning or where you left off.
Technically I can do that from XBMC using samba :v:
Plex probably does it wayy better though.

Might give it a try, then.
