I always wonder this, but I think it's mostly about heat dissipation.
Why not use a metal case as the heatsink for the SoC?
guys just wait for graphene batteries... it'll fix it all [sp]we made one in school and it sits on the teachers table[/sp]
Have to presentate my Queen paper tomorrow. Which song should I give as the example? Like, which song has the best 1 minute beginning?
And what about that time when you banned Assembler because it 'wasn't expressive enough'?
Wait, when did I do that? Assembler is good. VB I might have banned though. Totally deserves it if I did.

Facebook doesn't work on my PC. I can click on one link before shit fucks up and that tab freezes. Glad I quit it, but I sometimes just need a thing to do on it :c.

Speaking about emperors, have you guys read Rome Sweet Rome? (the story is on the sidebar) Apparently it's getting a movie adaptation or something.

It's an army of plot-enhanced soldiers, toughened up after learning oh-so-much about you. Worst case scenario, plan B is activated - the kind of a plan the hero would be rushing to stop. But we aren't heroes. We'll activate it.
And I'll be playing megaman under a rock somewhere because I really don't need more cheesy action-dystopian movie/JRPG in my life.
Besides, you put all he scientific research money into buying more typewriters, not into making yourself a god. Face it, this is my fanfiction, I am the god.
I'll be playing freeman
My final form has a health bar that stretches across three monitors.
Well that's just awful programming

I might need an overdraft for this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00C29U8K4/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d8_i2?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=18E1D0X3PY1VH9QFFMP2&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=358549767&pf_rd_i=468294 Shit I thought I'd be able to copy paste that into a shortened link but the iPad wouldn't let me. Jesus.
Just spent $800 on a monitor. A bit belatedly, I realized a single 6870 probably won't run games too well at 1440p. Further upgrades may be in order.
Found a nice lil record shop, bought "Fore" by Huey Lewis and The News and got info about a shop that sells replacement parts and does service for old audio systems, then got a really old Tecmo Bowl cart with an extremely crappy label for $2. 'twas a good day [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline] Hip to be Square sounds SO good on vinyl
I just cracked and finally bought Sublime Text 3. No regrets.

I'd buy it if I had the money to. It's the only text editor I've ever wanted to throw money at. So fucking good.
It's a mixed blessing.
Eh, I don't care about maxing games out anyways. Besides, the 6870 is the best card that also works under OS X. And I was also planning on getting that 1080p 120Hz screen. Although I'll wait until I get my Ultrasharp in before I order it - need to see if it will fit on my desk.
omfg i'm looking for the famicom cover for Tecmo Bowl so I can get it printed and hey kids wanna play football
The vimtards in /g/ get so mad about sublime. At least its usable without a pile of plugins and two years worth of counterintuitive muscle memory.
Eh, I can see why people like Vi(m) after using it for a while, but Sublime over that ANY DAY.
I took the money for Sublime Text out of my 3DS funds. I'd rather have Sublime Text than 3DS. (Also I know that I can still get the 3DS in time, even with this).
I'm forcing myself to use vim whenever I'm on Loonix, I still don't get the fuss about it, its completely archaic.
It is very archaic, which is why I'll never understand why people use it over Sublime or something.
my high school had pretty strict filtering and locked down pretty much everything, most people would use online proxies (then bitch when their facebook accounts got hijacked) I used a java based ssh client and just tunneled all my web traffic through that(exe's were blocked)
I wouldn't even know how to go about setting something like that up. May have to look into it if the college I'm going to has a similar blocking system.
It is very archaic, which is why I'll never understand why people use it over Sublime or something.
I can't imagine doing a multifile project in Vim. Tabbed IDEs are a godsend.
Aren't they doing a 7950 "mac edition"?
For about $100 more than a regular 7950. Of course, it probably works exactly the same as a normal one - I'm using a stock 6870, not an Apple-branded or Mac-labeled one, and the only problem is that it doesn't show the boot screen.
